Synopsis: "There's no place like home for young Dorothy (Judy Garland), who's been swept away from her farm in Kansas to a wonderland of munchkins, flying monkeys and different-colored horses. She must follow the Yellow Brick Road to the all-knowing Wizard of Oz to find her way home. Along the way, she meets the Scarecrow (Ray Bolger), the Tin Man (Jack Haley) and the Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr), who help her fend off the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton)." "family classic is fun!""The wizard of oz is a classic family flick. Its fun, clean musical entertainment, what’s wrong with that? Now this movie isn’t perfect, some things can get a little bit annoying and the lion’s song near the end is awful. But overall this is a great family musical that everyone should see. This is a fun adventure/comedy movie, and everyone should probably watch it for the first time when they’re young. Even though I’m older now, watching this movie still makes me smile. It’s not so much a really really good movie as it is a really really fun movie." by looneyman on Fri Jan 6th, 2012 0 Comments | Reply | Report |
