Synopsis:
"Winner of a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, this documentary chronicles the life and work of photography pioneer Lewis Hine, whose images of immigrants at Ellis Island, child laborers, mill workers, slum dwellers and tenant farmers captured the human toll of the Industrial Revolution. Interviews and historical footage add to the story told by the photos themselves. Jason Robards, Maureen Stapleton and John Crowley narrate."
