Synopsis: "After witnessing a drug-related killing, Ashe Corven (Vincent Perez) gets brutally murdered by an evil drug cartel -- and brought back to life by a mysterious crow. With help from the beautiful Sarah (Mia Kirshner), he exacts revenge on his killers one by one -- only to realize that his enemy, the lethal Judah (Richard Brooks), has found the one weakness that can destroy Ashe. Tim Pope directed this brooding sequel to the 1994 cult hit The Crow." "They got it the wrong way rouuuund.""The crow 2 should have had the same tone as the first but had a new creative plot...what did it do? CHange the tone completly but make the plot identicle. The major differences here are, wait for it, wait for it, this is going to shock you. His girlfriend didnt die, it was....HIS SON!!!! and the villain isnt the captain from alien 4 ....HES BLACK!!!! Woah, is your mind blown? And the darkness is ompletley replaned by wierd, surreal colours which would be interesing and articstic in other surcumstances...but the crow does not suit the colour purple. Its like barney the dinosaur is trying to avenge his sons death. And vincent foreign guy does a poor job as the crow, hamming it up shockingly...and my favourite sene? Where he rund aroudn pushing over barrels in a high octane actions scene whih made me laugh hystercily. Just makes you apreciate brandon lee even more. Having said that it isnt a complete dissaster, it could be wicked prayer......" by Rogus on Sun Sep 5th, 2010 0 Comments | Reply | Report |
