Synopsis: "After adopting a wild mustang and promptly dubbing it Flicka, 16-year-old Katie (Alison Lohman) watches in horror as her father (country music star Tim McGraw) callously sells her companion. Determined to regain Flicka's freedom, Katie hatches a secret plan to enter a treacherous wild horse race. Maria Bello plays Katie's mother in director Michael Mayer's remake of the classic family film, based on a book by Mary O'Hara." "Flicka""This is a wonderful and heartwarming movie. Not only a great family movie, but a great father/daughter movie too! I will definitely add this to my dvd collection as soon as it is available. Tim McGraw is not too bad in this movie either--a recommendation to all!" by equeen on Tue Oct 31st, 2006 0 Comments | Reply | Report"Flicka""This is such a great movie. The previews really don't do it justice. This movie has something for the whole family. The story line and the way that it plays out ti great. I have to say, I was a little skeptical about Tim McGraw having such a large role in it, but he did a wonderful job. This is definately one of the best movies i have seen this year, and I go to alot of movies (at least 1 a week), actually it is one of the best movies I have ever seen. You really need to go and see this one. I know that it is family movie, but really, people of all ages will love it!" by Sydney on Mon Oct 30th, 2006 0 Comments | Reply | Report |
