Synopsis: "After promising the beautiful Victoria (Sienna Miller) that he'll retrieve a fallen star to secure her love, young Tristan (Charlie Cox) journeys to a magical world to win her heart in this charming fantasy based on Neil Gaiman's novel. Along the way, he battles a pirate named Captain Shakespeare (Robert De Niro), an evil witch (Michelle Pfeiffer) and other assorted goblins and ghosts. Peter O'Toole, Claire Danes and Rupert Everett co-star." "Stardust""This movie really shocked me in how well it was. The movie was really good. It had everything a good movie has great story, good acting, good special effects, and some really good action scenes. The story is about a young man who crosses over the forbidden wall to retrieve a fallen star to prove his love to a woman who just takes advantage of the fact that he does love her. At the same time three witches are also looking for the star because with the heart of the star they can look young and be stronger than they are. Also a prince is looking for a stone necklace so that he can be crowned king of this land, in which the necklace is around the fallen star's neck. There is a really funny scene where Robert De Nero plays a gay flying pirate captain. It was hilarious and I have to give De Nero credit for playing this role he was excellent. When the film comes to conclusion you leave happy at how things turn out and glad that you saw the movie well at least I did." by moviemantilidie on Tue Sep 4th, 2007 0 Comments | Reply | Report |
