Synopsis: "Astro Boy (voiced by Freddie Highmore), a young robot created by Dr. Tenma (Nicolas Cage), embarks on a dangerous odyssey, navigating unknown territory in search of purpose before returning home to save his loved ones. Metro City is desperately in need of a hero who has extraordinary superpowers like x-ray vision, remarkable speed and the ability to fly in this sci-fi anime based on Osamu Tezuka's manga." "Horrible""The movie is horrible. An EXTREME amount of padding. The only good part is just the beginning. And you know how long it took Astro Boy to find out he has weapons?? AT THE END OF THE MOVIE. Plus the voice acting by Freddie Highmore(Astro Boy) isn't that good. Oh, and they got 2 MORE FAMOUS PEOPLE IN THIS MOVIE. NICOLAS CAGE AND TIMON FROM THE LION KING. JUST GREAT. GHOST RIDER AND TIMON IN THE SAME MOVIE. A way better plot was to have Astro Boy fight evil and stuff and then have his power core stolen, and with the help of an emergency power core, have Astro find the person who stole it before the emergency power core runs out, as it has a time limit. THERE. 10X BETTER THAN THIS PLOT." by Thereviewer on Sat Jan 8th, 2011 1 Comments | Reply | Report |
