Synopsis:
"Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) re-teams with writer Simon Beaufoy and producer Christian Colson to tell the harrowing story of real-life mountain climber Aron Ralston (James Franco), who literally cut himself loose from danger -- and lived to tell about it. When sliding rock pinned his right forearm under a boulder during a climb in the Utah mountains, Ralston resorted to his basest survival instincts to stay alive."

"Good but not good enough!"

"It was alright... But it was outstanding. I was really suspecting to be blown away from this movie. But sadly all I got was blood, and flashbacks. I really wanted something more from an Academy award nominated movie. But, I guess it wasn't horrible."

"awful"

"One of the WORST movies I have ever seen. I don't know how I watched it all. The music was awful. Even if this is a true story....it doesn't make for a good movie. I haven't been this mad about wasting a dollar to rent a movie in a very long time."

"James Franco shines in true story"

"Aaron Ralston (Franco) is an adventurous type who becomes trapped by a boulder in Utah, and realizes his own vulnerabilities. Superbly told using unique visual techniques that make a claustrophobic setting interesting. James Franco holds viewers captivated with a strong performance."
