"Disapointing."

"Clash of the Titans was O.K. The special effects was great, but the plot and the dialog especially were awful. It was kind of like a Greek road trip movie. The scene with the Kraken was epic! I wish I could see that in 3D (real 3D not "post production" 3D)! I think the worst thing about this movie was the poster. It gives away whats going to happen. I mean really, when a guy is holding what is clearly Medusa's head, what else could he be doing with it? So overall, i recommend you just ignore this movie, it's nothing special. 4.7/10"

"The Creatures!"

"I wanted to see more God VS Man thing go on here. I mean ALOT more. But then over all it was an okay movie. The only thing that i though would have made it better was to make the battle scenes a little more longer. Story is great but then it needed little touch ups here and there. Disappointed that the movie was just so fast. But MAN! The creatures were great! The sisters of fate were pretty fantastic. I loved the way how they all worked together to make it just as real to us as to the characters in the movie. I seriously think that they made Hades hella! WEAK-SAUCE! Come ON! Hades is the ruler of the underworld. He should have atleast looked a little more raw. Or a little more sinister looking. The Craken was pretty cool too. Although his stay in the film was cut short after Perceus uses Medusa's head to freeze the ginormous creature that was locked up. Wishing we could have seen more destruction, but unfortunately it just had to die. Anyways, i think this movie is okay. I recommend people to watch it but not own it on DVD or Blueray. It's just not as good a plot as the original one. But then if you think otherwise, im happy for ya. thanks"

"bring fourth the kraken and just end this movie already"

"the director tried to make the movie his own by changing the story a little bit and although the special effects were brilliant the acting wasn't. there was far too much action, it felt like the director rushed the film if anything they should of made the film a 3 hour film or seperated the film into a trilogy focusing more on the story."

"Not up to the hype it put on"

"No doubt this movie had a lot going into the box-office. The trailers were intense and the actors were great, but the movie did not come up to par. The remake of the 1981 film "Clash of the Titans" (which carries the same title) just wasn't what I expected going into it. I thought I was going to be amazed and come out of the movie saying "wow!" That factor, however, just wasn't there. Although the movie was entertaining I had to look at my watch a couple of times to see how much time was left. The special effects, I have to say, were pretty dang good. The acting however, could've been much better especially with Liam Neeson playing Zeus and Sam Worthington playing Perseus. Sam did a great job and really showed the emotion of the character well, but other than him....... Hollywood has done much better. The biggest disappointment of the whole movie was the final battle scene. Throughout the whole movie the battles were pretty descent and full, but the last one was a joke. Perseus miraculously defeats the greatest titan and the powerful Hades in about 3 minutes. What should have been the best part, makes me say that this movie is only a two out of five star movie.

If you like Greek Mythology, go ahead and see the movie, but if you're not, don't waste your money because most likely you'll come out disappointed."

"It's exactly what it advertises."

""Clash of the Titans" delivers exactly what it advertises. It's a fun, action-packed tip of the hat to an old classic genre. Fantastic special effects and well done CGI. Worthington is a grittier, tougher, angry Persius and does a very good job. I've seen the film in 2-D and in 3-D. Watch the 2-D to experience the film as it was meant to be seen. The tacked on 3-D isn't worth the extra money and actually hurts the film. So, see the 2-D version and know what you're watching. It's not meant to be a deep, complex, multi-layered drama. It is what it is and it does it very well."

"Epic storyline, but only a good movie."

"Just to preface; I have seen the original - when I was a kid. And at the time, the special effects were above and beyond anything else at the time. So this review might be a bit tainted by the impression left from the original.

Acting is average to good with Sam Worthington stealing the show. The story's main plot is virtually the same as the original. While the story strays from original in many ways, it still pays homage even in its differences.

Overall I enjoyed Clash of the Titans, but this time I wasn't left with awe that the original provided. It seemed to move too fast at times, never giving any time to the other characters development. Even Perseus's character was only given a short development intro before being thrust into his role as the hero. After that it's almost all action."
