If you like vampire, fantasy-drama with special effects visuals, quality acting, and a good storyline then you should watch the move Eclipse from the Twilight Saga. One scene that displays all of this is when the there are the two vampire clans are fighting in the woods. The vampires are leaping and dodging each other in mid air. Then also the sounds that come out of their mouths and also the sound of their bones crushing. Also with the vampires leaping through the air you know that wouldn�t happen in real life but its almost an adrenaline rush to watch and think "I wish I could do that!"

The special effects were good in the first two movies in the "Twilight Saga". The effects were good in "New Moon" but in "Eclipse" they were so much better. When the pack of wolves come into scene its unbelievable to see these massive creatures look so realistic. Then another example of the high quality special effects is the fit between the newborn vampire pack and the pack of wolves and also the Cullen Family. There�s vampires and massive wolves lunging at each other and fighting to the death. Even the sounds are amplified during the fight and there just so crisp and clean sounding than real life sounds.

I interviewed a girl named Darshana and asked what she thought of the storyline, dialogue, and acting in the movie "Eclipse". She told me that she's usually not the one for a love story kind of movie but loved the whole "we cant be friends then become friends and finally fall in love" type of story line. Also Darshana said that Edward asking Bella to marry him was so surprising and shocking but exciting at the same time. Darshana didn�t read the books to books until after so she didn't know what was going to happen in the movies. She thought some of the actors were a little shy and awkward but when she read the books she had a movie in her mind playing and after that she stopped

thinking they were awkward and shy. I agree with her because when I read the books I saw Bella as being shy and to herself, and then with Edward he's not used to letting people get close that aren't his family. So when Bella comes into his live he doesn't know what to do or how to act.

Darshana also said that the dialogue was expected in some parts but then other parts were better. But she said that special effects beat out the dialogue. She's a fan of all the �Harry Potter Movies which have a lot of special affects. She when it came to Edward and his family running fast in the woods and doing inhumane moves she was awed. Then there was also the wolves they looked more like horses than wolves. But the size of their mouths and the sound that comes out never mind the size of their torsos, the special effects did such a good job on making those scenes. What I saw in my mind while reading the books was not nearly as good as the scenes in the movie was.

The movies were good but I thought the books were a lot better. The books details were better and in different orders than the movie. The movies played the scenes in different order or played the scene in a different way than you read in the book. One example was brought up my Crisitna a girl I interviewed she brought up when Edward�s sister Rosalie tell Bella her story of how she became a vampire. In the book Rosalie goes into Edwards room where Bella is staying the night while Edward is gone. Its described as Rosalie walking over to Bella on the couch and describing what happened the night her heart stopped beating. But in the movie Rosalie tells Bella on the porch after a family meeting Bella held to see who wanted her to become a vampire.

Even though the find out the same information its different that the way it is in the book. Also Darshana said there was another example of where the book scene was different than the movie scene. Darshana said in the book when Edward proposed to Bella he did so in his room while she was sitting on his bed the night before the big fight with the newborn vampire pact. But in the movie he proposed to Bella in the meadow during the day the day before the big fight. Even though in the movie and book were both before the big fight they were in completely different situations.

The only negative thing I have and have found out other people have against the movies and books are the differences between some scenes. Its understandable

you can not have the movies exactly like the books with every detail and scene in the same order and the same way you read about them. But while watching the movies in your head you�re like oh that was different in the book, or like they left this out or that's not how it ended. Only little things were left out it wasn't big or major like Bella and Edward be engaged.

All the Twilight Movies are my favorite and so are the books. When someone tells me they haven't seen the movie or read the books I encourage them to. They are such a good series and it's a great deal its not just one genre its multiples. You get your action, drama, love story, suspense, and fantasy all in one. When its all over and done it leaves you wanting more and keeps you on the �edge of your seat� until they give you more. Stephanie Mayers has done a terrific job creating this fantasy world that by the end you wish you belonged to. No matter how many times you read the books or watch the movies you still cant get enough and also its like your watching it for the first time all over again."

In any case - better then New Moon - THANK you for improving the Saga.."

"I enjoyed the twilight books, I dont know why, the romance was horrible, creepy even. The characters where souless and the plot repetetive. Bt something compelled me to read on.

The films are a similar story, exept that thing keeping me reading was gone. The first twilight was abysmally directed, the second was only slightly better. This film however is bound to blow away twilight 'fans' who have only seen the films ( god knows why theyd like it based on those 2 - probably just to look cool )

The film does not shy away from the fact edward is a complete creep, but the thing is you can wath it and go yh, he is a creep. They aknowledge that, watch it knowing your watching a reatarded girl fall in love with a creep. I basicly view it as a paedophilia metaphor. Thats not even a joke based on edwards age, thats really how it comes across. You can deny it, but if you watch it with that mindset it is actually a clever film. Ontop of that jacob contrasts completly to edward and is just an overall badass.

Not to mention the action is completly great and out of character for a twilight film. This is far loser to what the books where like in my head when I basicly inserted what stephenie meyer is uncapable.

I aplaud the director. He made a good twilight film!!! Lets hope the next one is like how that one was in my mind, with and extrmly graphic and violent sex scene hehe."

"Such a huge improvement over "New Moon". I liked the first Twilight, but thought New Moon was boring, long, and horrible. I really thought the trailer for this looked identical to New Moon. But this was probably the best made in the series. I still like the first Twilight the best, but I recommend Eclipse if you are a Twilight fan or even if you aren't. There's enough action to entertain non-Twilight fans.

The dialogue is still cheesy, and the special effects are sometimes hilarious - like when people's heads break off like ice.

The acting at times is cringe-worthy and wooden, and at other times, really good. Kristen Stewart smiled a bit more in this one... and I just love her in general, I think she is pretty and a good actress. Robert Pattinson instills Edward with a wisdom that adds a bit to Edward. Taylor Lautner's acting has improved.. still cheesy though. And the rest of the cast includes Ron Howard's daughter who does a great job, Peter Facinelli (Dr. Cullen), Nikki Reed (given a bigger part this time), Jackson Rathbone, Ashley Greene, and Kellen Lutz. My favorite actor in the movie though is Billy Burke (Charlie). He is hilarious :)

The scenery is pretty... I loved the woodland and trees. The music is great. The movie starts off good and ends pretty. There is a really good scene in the tent in which Taylor and Rob talk.

"This twilight movie sucked major, and i mean MAJOR. I can see how people say "Oh it was so much better than new moon and the origional!" THATS BECAUSE THE FIRST ONES SUCKED TOO. Do not waste your money on this, Kristen stewart plays a depressed emo who cant act. I loved the twilight books, but eclispe was a HUGE dissapointment!!! "First of all I do not like Twilight its for 12 year old girls and fat lonely housewives. I can understand how a lot of teenage girls can relate to Bella because she's a bland pessemist who has nothing going on for her. Well alot of people can relate to that but, really? Who gives a flying flop? Also I hate the the whole Edward vs Jacob fanbase crap. Everyone knew she would choose Edward and she did(surprise!) THATS WHAT THE WHOLE SECOND MOVIE WAS ABOUT! My girlfriend liked Twilight but that's forgivable because I love her and I think she realized that it's kinda stinky after she read Stephen King's The Dark Tower series(best story ever!)

I think that Bella is way too dependent on relationships with supernatural beings who are completely wrong for her(and I dont see what they see in her anyway)(satan and Sadam also come to mind) She should just choose neither of them and just focus on trying to love herself and be a more three-dimensional character with some redeeming quality(pisses me off when there's no redeeming quality in a story)

Anyway I don't like this story and I'm sorry if I pissed you off.

"I have read all of the books twice over, and am in love with the story line of the twilight saga. Eclipse was a little weird for me. As a fan of the books, I always feel like they should put in all of those little details, because the movie will be as much as we expect, and although it might be long, for those people who haven't read the books, things will make so much more since. I feel like there was so much left out, about Bella and Jacobs back and forth friendship/relationship, the history of the tribe, the amount of time Bella spent with Jacob and Alice, so much that you just don't see in this movie. It mostly focused on the "love triangle" between Bella Jacob and Edward. It was pretty slow moving and the climax of the movie was there and gone before you even realize it. It deemphisized the battle so much that it barely stood out as the major focus of the movie, which it was a major focus in the book. I still loved the movie, and will always want to see more of them, I just think if they waited a few more months instead of rushing to put the next movie out, they could have put more attention to detail. Also, Bryce Dallas Howard just didn't cut it for me. I don't see why they replaced the old Victoria, because she fit the character so much better than Bryce does.

If you love the first two, I wouldn't hold back on seeing it, because you will want to keep up with the story and it was good. Just be prepared that it will be more slow moving and romantic, and not nearly as action packed and exciting as the previews have made it out to be."

"I Love all the books and read them within a couple days, but eclipse, eclipsed the books for me.

I did not like the way the movie flowed, actually it did not flow well at all. I felt they could of spend an extra 10 minutes on film to make the transitions from scene to scene better. Overall I was disappointed in the final product.

"the main theme of todays Vampire/Werewolves movies is: how they are attempting to establish themselves as a surviving race among mortal humans. that historically has been the main plot.

but this movie goes way away from that and is actually just a soap opera like one life to live or something. instead of battling for a purpose, the conflict is actually over a girl; (even two men shouldn't fight over that), which greatly diminishes the significance of the fantasy. the Werewolves join the Vampires and risk their lives for one single girl who's with a Vampire. which is completely inconceivable.it appears the objective of the director is to portray the youthfulness of the charactors. the plot was meaningless and lacked intellect. the most disappointing thing was that there was only one actual fight or battle in the entire movie and that was in the end. just a poor movie"

"I am a true twi-hard and I have read the books MANY times. This movie left out so many important pieces and added pieces that upset me as a true fan.

It seemed a bit choppy in places and was a big let down to those who know the Eclipse story line. The effects were great, the humor aligned with new moon, and the characters were not compromised- but the story line....

The break up scene between Bella and Jacob was ruined. Where was the "kidnapping" scene with Alice and Bella? Great lines from characters were left out, i.e. "They've been holding out on us." or added, "You're dead!" Not to mention many more. And the ending.....ugh....it was not in the book at all.

True twi-hards will love to see their characters back, but dislike the deviation from the book. New fans may get lost in the movie or love it because they don't know the book.
