"I'm sorry for not listening to all of you"

"I read all of the reviews on this movie from this website before I watched it. I figured that it couldn't be as bad as what you all were saying. I went on yahoo and some other movie review websites and they gave it a B rating. Now that I've finished watching it I have to say that it was a hunk of crap. I've seen worse but yeah the ending was horrible. Did dude die? He just left the money there next to the dead guy. That was just stupid! It wasn't easy to really look at it as part love story when the girl had a kid from a different relationship. It made her look like damaged goods instead of the damsel in distress. That kind of ruined that aspect for anyone who likes that sort of thing in their movies. So if any of you are reading this don't make my mistake and watch it just to find out. It's really bad. 2/10"

"waist of time and money"

"This is one of the worst movies my husband and I have seen. We love renting and buying movies almost every week, so we have seen lots of films. This one wins as the worst. The movie is so 'slow', there is lots of people staring at each other, the beginning fools you, the actors are baaaaad, the plot is stupid, it is called "Drive" but there very little of that. We did not read the book, but this movie does not inspire us to. In conclusion, IT SUCKS!"

"What a Waste of Time and Money"

"So disappointed in this movie, have seen many of Ryan Gosling's movies and have come away being entertained. This movie was in no way a good movie, not even a bad movie, it was just downright A-W-F-U-L and we chucked $20.00 to buy the video, big mistake"

"Retarded"

"I can't believe how bad this movie was. I'm pretty sure they filmed the whole thing in a day. The directing, acting, and story was awful. The one highlight was Albert brooks. Never thought I'd say that. This is the first time I was actually upset I wasted $1 on a movie from redbox. Don't waste your time."

"Don't bother"

"AGREE! Waste of money. Long pauses when people talking. You could go out and get popcorn, comeback and not miss the next line."

"Dull, bloody and slow."

"Boring, it fails to capture your attention with its excess blood, violence and "style" that tries to make up for its lack of emotion, flow and script. Simply a grand waste of time."

"Borring"

"This film resembles a classic case of "Bait Art" common in contemporary filmmaking, especially among young directors. They lure in film critics who are overwhelmed by a wide range of intense hollywood cinema and give them something digestible- a slow moving, short scripted, uneventful film- market it as artsy and put in some artsy music and artsy shots to complete the picture. Drive, for the rest of us, is nothing more than a ridiculously forgettable movie with some great actors. The film is painfully slow, painfully cliche and above all overdramatic in delivery. It never feels real. Made for the elitist critics, not for people like us."

"Drive is a Artistic masterpiece."

"Few movies reach the level of artistic magnificence as this one. The movie is paced beautifully, the characters are subtle and relatable, and each turn is unpredictable. Everything is intentional, disturbing and beautiful.

Our main character, and the characters around him our never told to us, they are only shown, making each character more interesting. You feel like you’re getting to know the characters instead of someone telling you about the characters.

The cinematography not in style, but in feel reminds me of Quentin Tarrentino. It mixes a Dark storyline and turns it into something beautiful. The subject matter here is not as fun and goofy as Tarantino’s, but that is probably a plus.

There is very little to complain about in this movie, it is one of my favorites of 2011."

"NOT GOOD QUALITY AND SLOW"

"I would not bother much to see it again; if you love movies, there are so many out there. When I saw it, I was disappointed; at one time I thought this was a b movie, didn't have much dialogue with the woman and the man; Ryan was not that good an actor, and there was no suspense, no real proper drama ... you had to wait near the end to get most drama, and it bit confusing, did not all make sense; and there were small parts to the film that just did not add up to the true story. A lot of flaws, no real emotion ... and Ryan did not talk much, he moved, he remained a mystery; the film called drive but there no real fast driving or car chasing, only some moments of thrills and spills; and the bloody parts of the movie at the end were so raw and ruthless; all the killings and action only happen at the end did enjoy the movie, and I have seen much better films; I thought camera was lacking in the movements"

"T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E, with a capital T"

"I am soooooooooo disappointed. Thought it would be in the same vein as "The Driver" or "Vanishing Point", but NO. Why call it "drive"? There was very little of that. From approx. 120 mins, MAYBE 15 mins were worth watching. And NO we did not find the elevator scene to be HOT. Do not waste your time or money on this."

"I felt like I needed a shower after this movie"

"I feel betrayed by those who gave this a good review. The violence was completely appalling and unnecessary. The least they could have done was give it a decent ending."

"TERRIBLE MOVIE"

"I keep seeing great reviews on other websites, which drew me to watch this movie initially. But what a waste of money. Boring! Good Cast, but the movie did not make the cut. Save your money Watch another movie, it doesn't pick up at all."

"Expected So Much More"

"I must say that despite the critics raving that this is one of the best movies of the year. I would say that it’s a good movie, cinematically done in a somewhat different way but I must say unless you love movies that start off slow only to pick up and then slow back down then Drive would be the movie for you. Ryan Gosling was menacing in the best way, his character was nothing short of a kind killer. I will say this….if you have a movie titled “Drive” and there isn’t either someone driving throughout the movie or some serious kick ass chase scene….you’ve misled the audience; and this left me missing the “Fast and Furious” franchise because plain and simple they did more driving in all four installments then Drive even thought of. The one scene with Ryan driving a Mustang trying to elude a Chrysler 300 (not sure if it was just the Hemi or an enhanced model); this scene could have been so much more but left you settling for what the director decided to leave in. Now, in the real world…..a Mustang would burn a Chrysler 300 (Hemi or not) but this wasn’t the case. I found myself sitting in the seat wanting to see the Chrysler catch Ryan…simply because the driver out drove the Mustang period. And, even when RG spun around and was driving in reverse….the Chrysler was eating him up. Don’t get me wrong….once the movie got going and the action kicked in….you were not disappointed. I think the sexiest scene in an action flick took place in this movie. The elevator scene was simple but HOT, right down to the crushed skull. Once the movie was over, I still felt like I was missing something from this movie going experience and I was….the action. But, overall I had a good time and enjoyed the action and acting of the entire cast."

"TERRIBLE MOVIE"

"TERRIBLE MOVIE, like the above comment where the movie was so broing he thought about walking out. Every 10 minutes you are thinking "man this movie really sucks" All the guy does is stare at people and won't change his dirty jacket. DO Not see this movie. Even if you rent it on dvd you would turn it off."

"bad..bad.bad"

"This movie was slow, little entertainment and 80% boring. I thought about leaving the theatre a couple of times but thought it had to get better. Well, it didn't. Even the ending was lame.."
