"BEST MOVIE EVER!!!"

"finally a good movie for expend my money. The characters the visual effects, everything that I wanted in a movie, fantasy action suspense and a good topic all of them was in harry potter and the deadly hallows. the only thing that i'm desagree was the dead of voldemort I expected something harder fight with harry, but not he just simply turn into a disgustin baby full of blood. the best part was when all the friends of harry potter turn into harry potter that was very funny. another good part was the fight in the coffeshop in the UK."

"One of the best Potter's"

"A good movie that is definitely worth seeing. I took my buddy along and he couldn't believe how much more sinister this movie was compared to the first couple that he had seen. I liked that aspect of it. A good way to go out. Voldemort could have went out with a little more flare but overall I was definitely satisfied with this movie. 8/10"

"HARRY POTTER SAGA!!!!!!!!!!"

"Harry Potter saga is one of the most incredible movies adapted from a book, also in the movie, you can see the cinematic development thanks to its special effects.

it is the story of a boy whose name is Harry Potter. He has to fight with dark forces and their leader "Lord Voldemort" who he wants to destroy the union between the "muggles" (people without magical powers) and the wizards. The child is considered "the boy who lived" because he is the only person that has survived a killing curse and for this cause the death of Voldemort, who after a few years comes back to life to continue his mission. Harry and his friens, whom he met at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy, try to distroy Voldemort and save the magical world.

In this saga, apart from the great fantastic and magic content, you can learn lessons, such as the power of true friendship, the love parents have for their children, the courage to face the obstacles that life imposes on people, and how you can accept death, a reality."

"Wonderful Movie"

"A wonderful movie, and if you've ever lost a loved one, you'll truly connect with the emotion in this story. Many people grew up reading and watching the Harry Potter story, and this final movie reaches the peak of maturity in subject matter. It deals with honor, death, love, and sacrifice. Thank you Ms. Rowling for teaching our younger generation these important values."

"final potter flick is big and mildly satisfying for fans."

"Harry Potter friends do magic and junk

The harry potter series is probably the most overplayed and over rated series of movies of all time. Their not really bad, they’re just not much in them. Harry potter is an incredibly bland character and the magical setting has gotten old over the expanse of the eight films. Each movie in this series is more redundant then the last. I’m just sick of seeing these flicks.

That said harry potter eight is probably the best of the series. It was the first film in the series that I walked out of satisfied. The movie is a fittingly epic conclusion to the long running series complete with trolls fight statues, giant magical force fields and dragons. I’m sure it will not disappoint any fan of the books or films.

The movie really does it for me when it gets into Snapes back-story, making him the only three dimensional character in the series, it also reveals that Snape should have been the main character of this series. Watching the other movies now is actually some what entertaining now, just because I know Snapes back story, it basically is the best thing they’ve done with the series.

In the end this movie is better then any of the others. It’s an explosion of pure awesomeness for harry potter fans, as for the rest of us, it’s just OK."

"WONDERFUL

Part 2 of Harry Potter and the deathly hallows is a very nice movie. I watched it with my friends. We really enjoyed the movie. This part is better than part 1. I liked the whole story and the actors were wonderful. The 3d-effects were also awesome, much better than with other movies. I really recommend this movie. But Im also feeling sad, because the famous three wont be having adventures anymore. Hopefully J.K.Rowling will write more books or they should make an aftermath movie."

"Avada kadavera (death spell) Harry Potter series! Avada kavera forever"

"Am I the only one to say it's okay? I hated the 3D effects. When I was waiting to get tickets,I looked in an auditorioum playing the same movie in 3D, I was amazed. Although when it got to the exact same scene in the one I was seeing, the effects were ruined and I felt like I was wearing stupid glasses while seeing a 2D movie. The 3D version was so bad,my mom never wants to see a 3D movie again (Thanks a lot 3D devoloping jerks.) As for the movie itself,I was...pleased. The acting was okay but nevile longbottom did more hero-like acts than Harry. So over all,I give it 3 stars."

"Harry potter 8 is poor..."

"In this potter movie it seemed it didn't live up to the book as I had read it before hand. David Yates seemed to put in all action moments and hardly any emotion at all. If you have not seen the eighth harry potter movie then I would recommend you do not see it in IMAX 3D as the characters were blurred and hardly any of the action scenes came out of the screen at all.

And Nevile Longbottom seemed to do more than Harry Potter, the main character.

In conclusion, the movie and it's 3D does not live up to reviews and news you have probably seen somewhere.

Even though this was, in my opinion, the worst harry potter movie. I will be sad to see the series go..."

"This is just a review of Alan Rickman's performance"

"Alan Rickman has been great throughout all 8 movies. Ever since the first movie, I knew that he is definitely one of the best actor in the HP series and that Snape is a very interesting and influential character. I think Rickman did a very good job in potraying Snape's character and that HP series will not became what we came to love without his outstanding contributions. Also, ever since the 7th book came out and we knew that Snape is in fact on Harry's side, I had always wondered how Rickman would convey the depth of the emotions and love and hurt that was potrayed in the book. And the result is he definitely exceeded my expectations by far and beyond. The scene where he said "but it's her son" was just heart-wrenching. When he hugged Lily was just really sad and filled with pain. Rickman delivered all the emotions, the pain, the hurt, the love, all of it in the best way possible and the audience can actually feel it. I think it's the best accomplishment an actor can have - when the audience feel the emotions of the character he/she played. And for that, here's to Rickman for an amazing job well done."

"Heybuddymovies.com"

"It’s over; no more Harry Potter movies are coming to a theater near you. It has been over ten years and that entire time we were able to have a fantastic cast assemble that played all the main roles without change (with the exception of the death of Richard Harris). It has been a great ride for many fans and also a somewhat disappointing one for the novels purists. With this book end to the young wizard’s franchise, the audience is treated to a fun-filled, action packed finale.

The movie starts where the last one ended, at Dobby’s funeral. Then Harry decides that he must question the old wandmaker about the Deathly Hallows and Griphook the goblin about getting the next Horcrux. They then start the next adventure breaking into the unbreakable Gringotts bank to get the next Horcrux thanks to Griphook’s help. After a double cross by the goblin and a close getaway on a dragon, the three main characters must then get back to Hogwarts to get the final Horcrux and the only means of destroying all Horcruxes. As they do, Voldemort knows what they are doing and is none too excited about it. Now it is time for his big attack on the school to get to Harry. So it bounces back and forth from then on, battle, exposition, battle, exposition…

I did not like these films when the first two came out. I saw it with a friend both times who was very into the books. The first one I thought was all right, while I really didn’t like the second one. I somewhat liked the third, but it wasn’t until the fourth that it finally clicked for me. I saw it for what it was, a story about loyalty in friendship, uncompromising good versus ultimate evil and putting others before yourself. It was then that I started to like the movies, it was also then that I started to the books, only to find myself fly through them one after the other. So I may not have started out as a Harry Potter fan, but I ended up one and am sad to see this franchise end with this film.

What a great way to end this franchise. It was almost perfect in its execution, splitting up action and needed scenes of explanation to bring together a rather fast paced film. This last film seemed to hit all the right notes it needed to in bringing about emotion in the viewer, whether it be sadness, nostalgia, exhilaration, or whatever. Be warned though, this is not a movie for kids anymore. It is very violent and showed certain things that would make younger kids a little uncomfortable.

The themes that have made this such a popular franchise are simple ones; heroism, sacrifice, friendship and loyalty. These all shine through the screen up until the credits role, whether it is Neville Longbottom’s unwavering heroism or commitment to his friends to Harry Potter’s willingness to sacrifice himself when called to do so. Harry Potter never really reaches those themes that were so intensely put forth in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but it tries and it does work well. I love being able to see these themes strongly portrayed in an industry that usually likes to present relativism and other horrible themes as ones that should be sought.

The acting was all fantastic as well. Warwick Davis does a great job as Griphook. He is great; playing a conniving goblin who betrays Harry Potter after Harry has treated him as an equal. It was good to see that he was able to let loose some acting chops rather than just be a spectacle. Daniel Radcliffe, Rubert Grint and Emma Watson all did fantastic jobs creating characters that will be fondly remembered for years to come. Ralph Fiennes does a fantastic job playing a villain that shows fear amidst his plans falling apart and yet still brings the creepy. The hands down performance goes to Alan Rickman as he gives a heartfelt performance to Severus Snape and it is awesome to see. I can’t stress how much the casting for these films were practically pitch perfect. There were scenes of forced grandstanding speeches, but it does not take away from the film if you’re able to overlook them.

Since the very first film there have been many who have gripped about parts being left out of the book, which I understand to a point. Some have let it even make them hate most of the films. I didn’t like that they took out two of my favorite parts of the books, but I got over it. There are time constraints to films and that goes doubly so for films based on books with over 500 pages. You can only do so much, but it never should have taken away from the joy of the film I always thought. Jurassic Park the book had a better ending than the film, Fellowship of the Rings left out a much beloved character in Tom Bombadil, but these were still great films, the list goes on though. The point being, it had to be done and though I would have loved extended cuts like The Lord of the Rings Peter Jackson finally gave us, but it just wasn’t meant to be. I loved each one of these films and may dream of what could have been with the ignored scenes, but we got a great franchise nonetheless."

"The best one by far"

"I'll admit I am not a fan of big franchises, Harry Potter being the prime example. I see the Harry Potter films as a way of putting more money in JK Rowling's back pocket and nothing more. But I can't be completely critical just because I think the principal is wrong, so I'll make a stand and say that I actually quite enjoyed The Deathly Hallows Part 2 (though Part 1 was too boring for me to remember). It's a never ending battle and is actually quite exhausting to watch. The only thing that motivated me to watch it in its entirety was the fact that it had to end and this was the last one. Ever. Though relieved that Harry Potter 8 can't exist, I actually do feel a sense of an end of an era, but a long era that was dragged out due to the fact the last film has 2 parts. Personally, I think Helena Bonham Carter is the best thing in this film, especially in her part of playing Hermione. She is a great actress which is more than I can say for the rest of them. Nonetheless, I didn't put it off after 10 minutes and I didn't fall asleep, therefore it has done well with me."

"A Great Finale!"

"As a finale, the nprobably couldn't have done much better. The battle was intense, and it contained all the action part one lacked. It's not as good as the first 6 movies, but it's still good."

"The best way to end"

"I must say that I was extremely pleased with the way this movie franchise has ended. I doubted that it would look like how I wanted it to in my head after reading the book serveral times and I was right. But the thing is that the vision on the screen is someone elses imagination, it's what they visualised when they read the book and they just had the opportunity to make it come alive.

I am so glad that they kept to the book for the final two parts instead of veering off into things that weren't relevant to the story that I found happened in 'Goblet of Fire' and 'Half Blood Prince'. However, the final two kept all the important stuff in there to enable the audience to get a full understanding of the characters and the plot they'd been following from the 'Philosopher's Stone'.

I felt like we had genuinely come on a journey with the characters and obviously mainly Harry, Ron and Hermione. For example, initially I wasn't pleased with Ron and Hermione's kiss but then thinking about it, it was as spontaneous as it was supposed to be; in their situation and after all that time all that was left to do was kiss.

I was glad they reshot the epilogue scene. The character's had all seemed like they were 50 rather than late 30s so I was pleased with the new scene. I loved that a ripple of laughter went across the cinema when the audience realised that Ron had gotten fat with a comb-over over the 19 years.

With the movie focusing on epic Battle of Hogwarts, this was definitely done as best as it could have been which is completely excellent and it left me feeling satisfied with the ending of the series I've followed since I was child.

P.S. Probably not worth seeing in 3D though, save your pennies"

"Thanks, Harry, it's been good"

"This was it. The end of the magic. The finale of an era. The epilogue of the childhood for many hardcore Potter fans who grew up with JK Rowling’s worldwide-selling and extraordinarily phenomenal franchise that lasted for 13 amazing years. Forgive me for using an overlong run-on sentence, but I guess it’s only appropriate for Harry Potter.

And the best part? The last Potter installment, reportedly the biggest and most epic picture of the series, offered me more than I could ever imagine.

I won’t waste time describing the details and how everything ends happily ever after, for me, it was the process that matters the most. Harry, Ron, and Hermione, now adults with the mission of saving the world from evil, step up to carry the huge emotional burden as they say good-bye to their own childhood, and prepare to sacrifice themselves if necessary for the greater good. For Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, this was their final chance to show off the magic as they portray the iconic roles that made them household names.

I gotta admit, I wasn’t all that excited after seeing part one of the two part finale. Don’t get me wrong, David Yates is a spectacular director, he gets better and better every time. His innovative approach for handling each of his four Potter pictures always strikes me with awe. I guess “Half-Blood Prince” simply left too strong of an impression for me, as the first part of the “Deathly Hallows” didn’t, for me, quite live up the expectations. Nevertheless, I was pumped to see part 2, after all, this was an essential part of my childhood and I wanted to be there when it draws to a close.

What Yates does is very interesting. Yes, the special effects were stunning. And yes, the story telling was faithful to the book. But what satisfied me the most was how much he understands the film. Let me elaborate on that: Yates is a huge fan of realism, as one can clearly tell the difference from his Potter films to those of, say, Chris Columbus. He doesn’t shy away from showing the bloody and maybe even gruesome scenes that he feels must retain from the books. And because of that, his Potter films are always that much darker and less grandiose than the early installments in the franchise. I guess that can be a drawback sometimes as it sucks out all the magic and leaves a theater filled with seven year-olds crying over a PG-13 movie. But as Harry perfects as a wizard and a human being, we as the audience are growing with him. Sooner or later, he’s got to realize the world isn’t always a little magical bubble filled with fairytales and butter beers, but that he has to act as a responsible young adult and rise to the occasion. I guess that’s what the later Potter films are about, a little gruesome, true, but definitely worth the lesson. And perhaps that’s what JK Rowling was trying to tell us as well: there are imperfections even in the wizarding world.

Yates knows how too much of a good thing can lead to the exact opposite. He always stops before crossing the line too much. In this grand, almost war-like movie, there are no wild celebrations or emotional cheers after Harry defeats Voldemort, instead we see the trio taking a long walk with relief along the severely damaged Hogwarts bridge. The message was clear: the magic world isn’t perfect anymore, but we can always learn to pick ourselves up and rise from the ashes.

Of course, there are lots of adrenalin rushing moments, along with a few great laughs and tons of applauses. I think I even saw a few audience members wiping their tears as the train takes off during the 19 years later epilogue. It really was quite an emotional moment, and nobody knows it better than those of us who grew up with the series.

Kudos to the cast and crew, notably Dame Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman, as they owned their parts and made this journey a thoroughly enjoyable experience. And Ms. Rowling, our childhood couldn’t have been the same without you. Most importantly, thank you, Harry Potter, for making me a believer through ten unforgettable and magical years with you."
