"this movie is great i was not gunna watch it because it looked like a kids movie but it turned out to be one of the best movies i have seen in a long time. go see it you will like it"

"This was an overall great movie. The addition of the kid take this movie from the level of a plotless action movie to a movie that you feel for. There is a lot of emotion behind this movie, and although rather predictable, still leaves you feeling happy and that you didn't waste your time."

"It was a pretty good movie except it comes to that one big problem that dropped it's rating from 4 stars to 3 stars. That would be the kid that plays Hugh Jackmans son. His role was not necessary at all. Him dancing with the robot before fights and every time that he opens his mouth and speaks makes me think that he definitely shouldn't be in the movie. If they come out with a second one, hopefully they take him out totally or limit his role severely!"

"My expectations for 'Real Steel' weren't really that high. I was thinking, "It might be a good sci-fi robot fighting movie, something I might enjoy but still I probably wouldn't ever add it to my home collection." Boy was I wrong.

This movie has some great moments and all the main characters have a lot of depth. The acting is great, the story blew me away, and I don't think I've seen such a great portrayal of what the near future would be like.

In most future movies all the gadgets are way over the top, too many of them, and just a bit unbelievable. With 'Real Steel' there wasn't anything that couldn't be done in just the next few years if we just threw lots of money at it. Even the robots themselves seemed like just the next generation of technology that we have now.

The story itself was written so well that you really get a feeling of attachment for the characters. You want them to succeed. You feel bad for them when they fail.

Bottom line is go see this movie. Bring your kids, they'll love it too."
