"This movie was like watching three stories all at once. None of them had much to recommend. Danny Craig turns in a good performance which can't save this movie from itsself. Rooney whats her name barely says two words in the film yet, will probably be given an oscar for being assaulted on screen and in turn assaulting the guy who did it. Female on male violence being so hip these days. Christopher Plummer seems to consistently play "evil rich" dudes. Long way from capt. von Trapp. Oh yes, lest we forget, there are also nazis. Ho hum, if it wasn't so depressing it could have been a Speilberger film."

"I was very disappointed in this movie. I thought the plot and story was very interesting, but many scenes were so gross that I had to look away and felt like walking out. I think it did not need so much shown in rape scenes and would have been better to watch without it. Actors were really great."
