Synopsis:
"In 1960s Jackson, Miss., aspiring writer Eugenia Phelan crosses taboo racial lines by conversing with Aibileen Clark about her life as a housekeeper, and their ensuing friendship upsets the fragile dynamic between the haves and the have-nots. When other long-silent black servants begin opening up to Eugenia, the disapproving conservative Southern town soon gets swept up in the turbulence of changing times."

"Movie war: Meryl Streep vs Viola Davis"

"I just have a couple of questions:

Just a couple of questions: more centred on Viola Davis' performance in The Help

1. Who acted better Merly Streep or Viola Davis?

2. Why was Viola nominated?

3. Did the movie work?

I loved the movie btw. Its a must watch.

Thank you x"

"Highly recommend. Hopefully we have moved away from these views of the African American population."

"A Story Worth Telling"

"I had little interest in this movie but left it applauding.

How life was in those days (contrast of white and black) has to give one pause as to how difficult it was if you were black.

Great story, great movie, great cast. WOW"

"WORTH YOUR MONEY!"

"Depending on what your likes are in a movie, you might consider watching. I would say the cast and movie were well done. Loved Emma Stone! A little comedy thrown in with the actual story of black servants during that time, great. Loved it."
