Lightning McQueen, a hotshot rookie race car driven to succeed, discovers that life is about the journey, not the finish line, when he finds himself unexpectedly detoured in the sleepy Route 66 town of Radiator Springs. On route across the country to the big Piston Cup Championship in California to compete against two seasoned pros, McQueen gets to know the town's offbeat characters.

‘Cars’ is my favorite cartoon movie of the year. My favorite character is the old, rusty tow truck Mater, Lightning McQueen’s best friend. I’ve seen the movie like five times on DVD, and I haven’t grown tired of it yet. It’s not hilarious, but it’s funny-comfortable, and it makes me miss my friends.
Cars is a cool movie!It is my favorite animated movie besides Toy Story.Everyone I know that has seen it loves it too.Disny Pixar makes cool movies.
