After finding out that her husband, Rudi (Elmar Wepper), has a fatal illness, Trudi Angermeier (Hannelore Elsner) arranges a trip to Berlin so they can see their children (Maximilian Brückner and Nadja Uhl). Great intense indie movie

Reviewed by kamsees

Story of an older couple. He's diagnosed with something, not much time to live (no, that's not a spoiler). She tries to get him out to see the kids, who live elsewhere.

Then, something happens, and the film shifts into an adventure, with change. Setting moves to Japan. Butoh dancing, part of this; and things that could be thought of as crazy but are part of life, or necessary; and finding what the soul needs.

in German with English subtitles.
