When the identities of secret agents from Control are compromised, the Chief promotes hapless but eager analyst Maxwell Smart and teams him with stylish, capable Agent 99, the only spy whose cover remains intact. Can they work together to thwart the evil plans of KAOS and its crafty operative?
This was totally funny and I LOVE Anne Hathaway. She is the best actress ever! I love when that one guy staples the other guy's head. That would hurt like heck but it was funny. Me and by best friend talk about it all the time. I was like crying in the movie theatre because it was so funny. He acts like a totally-cool, very mature top-secret agent but he is so not! He drops papers, can't get out of doors, and has horrible ideas for trying to get information about the enemy's secrets'. I can't tell you any more because that would spoil the movie if you havn't seen the movie yet.
Thanks,

I know i have tis under action, but it can go under comedy also. This movie was hilarious, and the funny scenes just kept on rolling.Steve Carell stars in this movie, along with Dwayne Johnson, and Anne Hathaway. He plays Maxwell Smart, who is very intelligent, but messes up alot.he detects things that just arent right with the orchestra that plays for the president.when the national anthem would hit a certain note, the bomb would explode...
I give this a 5 ***** star review. I reccomend this to anyone that likes action-packed comedy!
Get Smart is a movie where it is very funny without it trying too hard to be funny. It's also good because the movie is funny without delving in too deep into plain silliness. Steve Carrell is good as Smart, and Anne Hathaway and Dwayne Johnson are good supporting characters. It's nice to see a few familiar celebrities make cameos, too.
This is the funniest movie I have seen! It has action and enough comedy to keep you laughing for weeks! I know from experience. It shows Maxwell Smart (Steve Correll) team up with the mysterious Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway) as they work together to stop an insane evil. Featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Agent 23. This is a summer blockbuster you don't want to miss!
I got to see a free screening last night and had to walk out about 45 min into movie. I just couldn't take it much more. Self involved, horrible attempts to have that classic "cheezy" comedy that made the TV show so great. Instead the jokes border-line on fart jokes. Bad fart jokes. No originality. When you sit in a "comedy" I would think that humor would be a top priority to the writers, but they shouldn't quit their day job writing for ten year old kids that haven't had parental supervision.
The only people that will enjoy this movie are die hard fans of the TV show, and ten year olds. Trying not to add spoilers, but the movie starts out great, but 15 min into it, you wonder if you're going to make it for the rest of the 100 min of this fiasco.
Avoid, at all costs this utter pile of garbage.
Oh there was one funny part, but it was funny in the 60's as well. Smart gets stuck in a phone booth. Wait, that is in a trailer. Ok, wait..... the movie isn't funny.
