Ever just want to get into a fight after you see a movie?
Odd question, but you will after you watch Green Street Hooligans. This movie has the Fight Club vibe to it and I really digged it.
Starring Elijah Wood and Charlie Hunnam(Sons of Anarchy). This film follows the story of Matt(wood) who after getting kicked out of Harvard(not on his own will)travels to England to see his sister whom he hasn't seen for seemingly ever. Shortly after arriving he meets his brother-in-law's brother Pete(hunnam) and begins to hang out with him and his "friends". Unknown to Matt at first that Pete's friends are a local Firm(like a gang)and are always defending their turf against other Firm's.......mainly at football(soccer to us) matches and areas around them. Matt was at a crossroads in his life and being with Pete and the Firm gave his life new meaning and strength.
I don't want to give any more away because this movie is entertaining and I think that you should go watch it instead of me telling you the whole damn thing.
So I gave Green Street Hooligans 4 outta 5 stars because the story is well written and you really feel for the characters throughout the film.
Stand your ground. Fight!
