The all-star comedy cast from Grown Ups returns (with some exciting new additions) for more summertime laughs. Lenny (Adam Sandler) has relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises: the last day of school.

A better story and more entertaining than the first Grown Ups which I wasn't a fan of. Salma Hayek is still kind of an annoying actress. Burp snarting is just lame and wasn't funny at all. The best part of the film was seeing Stone Cold Steve Austin beating up on someone again. The ending was pretty good with the big brawl. Rent this one from RedBox. 6/10
To say that I was disappointed in this movie would be a huge understatement. It is crushing as a huge Adam Sandler and Kevin Smith fan to say that, but as far as comedy movies go, this movie wasn't very funny. Sure, I giggled a few times at some of their quirky puns, but I was very disappointed in the overall plot of the movie. There really wasn't a very meaningful point to the movie. It was basically a continuation of the first, without the reasoning. I really don't even know what the intended purpose of the film was. Adam Sandler has had some more than questionable movies recently, but I thought grownups was one of his bright spots over the last 10 years. It's my hope that they will make a third movie and it will redeem the second, much like hangover III did.
