If I start asking you do you remember the freedom of Bangladesh and the plight that the people faced during that time, you will tell me " please go on " and then I go on bringing in two kids who walked the wrong path to make sure they are given their rights, then you will tell me go on go on and I bring in 3 HOTTTT bodies ( 2 super hot , 1 ok ok hot ) and make then do a few dance and action moves together, you will sit back and think whats going on and at last you will find i just mixed up everything and now you know whats going to happen, thats Gunday for you.
Although the actors were great in what they were paid to do, Ranveer & Irfan were the only guys who stood apart, if you are someone who has been related to Bollywood you will understand how the movie is going to end as soon as you reach half of the movie, but do not try to give the suspense out.
Gunday.... a brilliant effort by Ali Abbas Zafar ... The dialogues are jus Mind blowing ... been penned by the director himself... although the screenplay softens periodically .. needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, in the wake of the entire PACKAGE... Absolutely, immaculate treatment, of certain scenes in the beginning and in the End..... if it doesnt bring a tear to your eye.. you aren't sensitive enough... This movie is all about an immortal friendship of two orphans who stick to each other in the worst of times...willing to give up their life for one another.... its about their rise to fame and power... about their Absolute togetherness which splits them apart in the name of a deceitful LOVE ....but they get back.. and HOW.... a must watch ... Gunday thrills you with the settings of the 70's.... Priyanka looks gorgeous as ever (shes my fav.. ) ... no two thoughts about her acting prowess as she shines as always.... Irrfan khan proves , hes the Maestro in watever he does ..always and ever... The surprise package of the muvee are Ranveer & Arjun... the lads have transformed to MEN...( Laundey MARD ban gaye hain ) and wat MEN... Intense performances.. Greek God looks...Chiselled Physiques... superb comedy timing ... they simply ROCK... This is one flick that you wud identify with..whoever you are... Although i criticised ' Mere Brother ki Dulhan' but Ali Abbas gets back with a vengeance and passion... and scores this time, for sure... .... Do watch this flick .. but dont hate me for this review... love u all... This muvee get 3/5 from me.
