In the not-too-distant future the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. A poor young man who comes into a fortune of time, though too late to help his mother from dying. He ends up on the run from a corrupt police force known as 'time keepers'.
This movie was pretty good except for one major thing which would be the main actor. Why movie studios keep giving Justin Timberlake acting work is beyond me. He isn't Ben Affleck bad but he's also nothing spectacular and this kind of role is not for him. This movie would have gotten 4 stars if it would have put almost anyone else in the lead role. I don't know why Hollywood always insists on giving these roles to established actors when someone who is lesser known would probably be better for the part! Besides for the problem with the lead actor the movie is quite interesting and makes you think. If the premise was real then it probably wouldn't be so easy to steal someones time like it is in the movie. 6.5/10
"IN TIME". A ridiculous film starring Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried where "time" is money, literally; predictably the rich survive; poverty results in an early demise. There is a nonsensical death; a falsely accused victim; a mindless, meandering, idiotic chase, a tepid romance. In essence a deleterious waste of "time".
ONE STAR!

First of all, who wrote your synopsis?
Will did not get his decades of time from a "wealthy murdered man". The man gave Will the time and then committed suicide.
The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the ending, it could've been different or been explained better.
Thx for listening!
