Lions for Lambs (2007)
Three stories told simultaneous in ninety minutes of real time: a Republican Senator who's a presidential hopeful gives an hour-long interview to a skeptical television reporter, detailing a strategy for victory in Afghanistan; two special forces ambushed on an Afghani ridge await rescue as Taliban forces close in; a poli-sci professor at a California college invites a student to re-engage.
There was too much talking and not enough action in this movie. Basically the whole movie revolves around two seperate conversations and then preparing for a mission that goes south. It wasn't a bad movie but relatively average.
Lions for lambs was easily the worst movie I've seen this year. I'm still not sure what they were trying to accomplish with this movie, but it did not work. The entire movie was a long and boring lecture on politics and foriegn policy. their was way too much meaningless dialogue especially with the Robert Redford character. This movie was like watching a boxer who never throws a punch. My recomendation is to find a better way to spend ten dollars and skip this movie.
