Set on an idyllic Greek island, the plot serves as a background for a wealth of ABBA hit songs. Donna, an independent, single mother who owns a small hotel on the island is about to let go of Sophie, the spirited young daughter she's raised alone. This movie is a beatiful musicial with excellent music of the band ABBA from Norway, a twenty- year.-old girl, her mother and four men.

In this story the twenty-year-old girl Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) wants to marry her boyfriend Sky (Dominic Cooper). Also, she wants to find her father because her mother Donna (Meryl Streep) does no tell her who he is. She finds the diary of the year when her mother was pregnant with her. Additionally, now she sends three letters to Harry (Colin Firth), Sam (Pierce Brosnan) and Bill (Stellan Skarsgård) to invite them to her wedding. Her mother doesn´t know this and when she gets to know about it, she is very surprised. Furthermore, the search of her father brings Sophie into a big disaster. The bad news first: Unfortunately at the end of the movie it is not mentioned who the real father of Sophie is

And now the good news: The actors sing very fantastically. In addition to that, the actors look very authentic and their body language is done very well.

To sum up, this movie is amazing and it has beautiful music and wonderful actors. We recommend the movie especially to families.
