I just watched October Baby today and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very meaningful from the important standpoint of offering a view into the meaning of life, and driving home the point that WE ALL DESERVE A CHANCE AT LIFE. The movie was full of emotion, laughter and tears, and kept you wondering what Hannah would find out about her beginnings, and how it would affect her. It was very moving and a positive experience; I highly recommend it to EVERYONE!! It's a movie you can feel very comfortable watching with the whole family - Enjoy!!!!
This movie deals with an intense subject in a thought provoking way. There are moments of joy and sorrow. How refreshing to watch a movie with my teen daughter that does not contain vulgar sexual content, inappropriate language or violence. The film allows you to put yourself in the shoes of the main character as she seeks answers to serious questions about her life. It will make you think, cry and smile too!
We just saw October Baby at the theater and it was a movie neither my husband nor I will ever forget. It takes the audience through the full circle of life, with a child's feelings, parent and child relationships, and friends respecting and looking out for friends. Laughter is even injected into this pretty serious issue, and although there were lots of tears, there was a light side to enjoy also. The audience applauded this movie which is rare to see in a movie theater. Absolutely outstanding!!
