Mike Sullivan works as a hit man for crime boss John Rooney. Sullivan views Rooney as a father figure, however after his son is witness to a killing, Mike Sullivan finds himself on the run in attempt to save the life of his son and at the same time looking for revenge on those who wronged him.
I know this movie is older but I didn't have a chance to see it until a little while ago, and it was definitely worth the wait. I am a big Tom Hanks fan and I've seen him do some great performances and he did a great job once again. The movie contains some great performances by every actor in the movie. The movie is about a depression era hitman (Hanks) who keeps his job a secret from his children but is unsuccessful when his eldest child waits in the car and sees his father perform his job duties. This brings attention from his boss and the bosses son played by Daniel Craig who kills Hanks' other son and wife. Hanks then goes and attempts to get revenge. I am not going to spoil the movie but its a different performance from Hanks and he hits a homerun. The movie grabs you from the performance but also has a strong story that will hold you to your seats. Excellent movie.
