Rubber (2010)
In the California desert, the adventures of a telepathic killer-tire, mysteriously attracted by a very pretty girl, as witnessed by incredulous onlookers.
This is of course a comedy at heart.It is a take on a subgenre of films that have objects come to life.Usually it is machines but in this case its a tire.Lots of hilarious things happen and there are plenty of unmined ideas to put in a sequal.Also this movie takes place in an alternate world where people watch movies as they happen with binoculars.
I cannot believe this movie was real, I thought it was a joke. When my 8 year old cousin saw the preview she was laughing, obviously not a serious movie. Great movies have an effect on people, after Jaws, no one went to the beach, I mean, what will people do, not buy tires? This movie couldn't light a candle to having an effect on anyone. i don't know how the producer kept a straight face showing this to the public. See this movie if you want to laugh and make fun of it later.
