Safe House (2012)
Denzel Washington plays the most dangerous renegade from the CIA, who comes back onto the grid after a decade on the run. When the South African safe house he's remanded to is attacked by mercenaries, a rookie operative (Ryan Reynolds) escapes with him. Now, the unlikely allies must stay alive long enough to uncover who wants them dead.

It seems that Denzel Washington plays one character only. He seems to do roles that consist of him being the bad/good guy. This is another role like that. It was an alright movie with a lot of action scenes. It seemed to start out a little better but then it goes slightly downhill come the end. The ending could have been a lot better but I guess it would be a typical American movie ending. The real bad point was you could pretty much guess fairly early in the movie who the secret bad guy is. If you like crime thrillers then check this out. 6/10
The movie Safe House was AWESOME in all caps. You will literally be on the edge of your seat the entire time. Just like an action movie it starts slow but isn't slow for long. I think that Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds make a good team. I really won't mind going to see this movie second, third and fourth time everyone should go see this movie. I know I rarely blink that much because I didn't want to miss anything. If you loved Training Day you will really love Safe House. This movie will definitely be a new addition to my DVD collection whenever it is released.
