Salt (2010)
As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: "Who is Salt?"
Let me start off by saying, if you want a good story-line, Salt is not for you. If, however, you want an action packed, cliff-hanging adventure, you will love this movie.
Angelina truly rocks the seductive, mysterious spy, and whilst we will never see her in a Rom-Com, she is bloody amazing at what she does.
I was hanging on my seat the whole way through this movie, completely engrossed in the action. There are amazing stunts, and unpredictable twist galore, and I honestly loved it.
A must-see for any action lovers.
I just wasted 100 minutes of my life! If you need entertainment , find a really cheesy infomercial...I should have bought a 2,000 dollar vacuum! No, I would never use it, but I would have felt more productive!! (I would have spent way more time feeling guilty for that purchase!!)
This is an absolute crap. Waste of time and money. The movie has a poor story and absolute worst direction.
Jolie is like a spider-woman flying and sliding without having to spin a web.
The stunts are stupid and defying any sense of direction.
Throwing the money out the window would have been a more pleasurable experience than having watched this movie!
This is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. It kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat throughout the entire thing, and it made me want more and more and more. There wasn't so much blood, profanity, or nudity for the movie to be over the top. And there was so little that the movie was cheesy. There wasn't over the top digital effects, she did all her own stunts. The storyline was great, with a plot twist here and there to season it to perfection. It ended on a major cliffhanger, and I can't wait for the sequel!
Didn't find anything new in the storyline. Julie however does good with her act. It was an average rated movie but it could have been better
I absolutely loved this movie. It had action from the beginning to the end. The plot is fantastic and Angelina Jolie was awesome. I truly enjoyed this movie.
this movie was a big disapointment. i wouldnt recomind it. ive heard it be compared to a bourne movie, i wouldnt say its even half as good. anglelina jolie did very good acting though even though the plot did get predctiable
Excellent Movie... With an open-ending though... Hopefully there's a sequel...
the movie is ok , but the story is kind of weak , if she is a super trained russian spy , why would her mentor reveal her identity 2 the cia ?? , also the why of killing the russian president looked 2 easy ... in general , it looks like a political special intellegance version of tomb rider ,, good movie , but not the best.
I enjoyed watching the movie from the beggining to the end, but one thing that didn't quite make sense was that, why did the Russian boss, had to tell on Salt's Identity at the CIA's interview room, that she was a Russian spy and that the Russian president was going to get assasined. Then they united again after he thought that Salt had killed the Russian president.
