A marksman living in exile is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the president. Ultimately double-crossed and framed for the attempt, he goes on the run to track the real killer and find out who exactly set him up, and why.
When this movie came out in theaters I really wanted to see it but didn't have a chance to until last night and it was worth the wait. The storyline is pretty well done but the action scenes were excellent and fast paced. Sometimes the action scenes seem a little over done but with the pace of the story the acton scenes fit pretty well. There are good performances from the cast for example Mark Wahlberg does great as the action hero of the story. While watching it theres is an action scene at the beginning of the film that I thought was just to pull you in but it turns out that there is meaning to it once you watch it.
The story is about a retired sharpshooter (Wahlberg) who was found by an army official played by Danny Glover so that he can explain a job that Wahlberg was needed for. The job was to pretend like he was going to assassinate the president so that the military and the F.B.I. would be able to catch the person who was reportedly going to really assassinate the president. All this leads him being setup and allowing for some good action scenes. As the story draws out you become more into it until the end of the movie. I expected this movie to be good and at the end of it I was surprised by how good the movie really was.
