The seemingly invincible Spider-Man goes up against an all-new crop of villains -- including the shape-shifting Sandman -- in the third installment of this blockbusting comic book adventure series . While Spidey's superpowers are altered by an alien organism, his alter ego, Peter Parker, deals with nemesis Eddie Brock and gets caught up in a love triangle.

the only thing that made me rate this movie a three was Venom, venom was just awesome in this movie. the sandman how ever was a pain in my arse "im not a bad person, that gives me the right to steal" pffft they should of had voulcher instead, just think of how epic the battle would of been between voulcher and harry osbourne at the end. its still a fun movie, its worth a watch because venom made this movie.

Story: The screenplay of Spider-Man 3 was written by Sam Raimi, Ivan Raimi and Alvin Sargent. The story of Spider-Man 3 in a small summary goes like this: Peter Parker (played by Tobey Maguire) has finally managed to piece together the once broken parts of his life, he is doing well at the school as a brilliant Columbia College physics student taught by his physics studies teacher Dr. Curt Connors (played by Dylan Baker), a photographer for The Daily Bugle owned by the grouchy chief editor J. Jonah Jameson (played by J. K. Simmons), maintaining a balance between his relationship with his girlfriend Mary Jane Watson (played by Kirsten Dunst) who loves him, he is even planning on proposing to M.J. to marry him, and his responsibility as Spider-Man, the whole city loves Spider-Man, finally bestowing upon him the praise he so rightly deserves. But one night while Peter and Mary Jane are on a date, a small, strange meteor crash's to Earth and a extraterrestrial Black colored alien symbiote attaches itself to Peter's low-powered motorcycle and follows Peter all the way to his apartment and waits there inside. Meanwhile escaped convict William Baker also known as Flint Marko (played by Thomas Hadden Church) escapes from a New Jersey jaill prison on the run from the police to help his wife Emma Marko (played by Theresa Russell) and his sick daughter Penny Marko (played by Perla Haney-Jardine), for whom he robs bank trucks and banks and steals money to help get the medical treatment to cure her critically unkown illness and falls into a particle accelerator that fuses his body with the surrounding sand. The result allows him to shape shift at will, becoming Sandman. Peter's former friend Harry Osborn (played by James Franco) still hasn't forgiven Peter for the death of his father Norman Osborn also known as the villianous The Green Goblin (played by Williem Dafoe) has developed the perfect technology and becomes The New Goblin and wants to continue avenging his father's death by killing Spider-Man. The New Goblin finally confronts Peter and they engage in a brutal battle scuffle leaving Harry to injure his head and suffer from temporary partial amnesia, making him forget his vendetta. Later, after a festival honoring Spider-Man for saving Peter's lab partner Gwen Stacy's (played by Bryce Dallas Howard) life, Gwen's father, New York City police officer Captain Stacy (played by James Cromwell), later informs Peter and Aunt May (played by Rosemary Harris) that Flint Marko is the true killer who killed Peter's uncle and Aunt May's husband Uncle Ben Parker (played by Cliff Robertson). A vengeful Peter waits for Flint Marko to strike again. The symbiote bonds with his costume while he is asleep; Peter discovers that not only has his costume changed, but his powers have been enhanced as well. Perhaps capitalizing on Peter's current conflicted and anguished state of mind, the black suit brings out the more vengeful, selfish and arrogant side of Peter's personality. Wearing the new suit, Peter locates Flint Marko, fights him in a cavernous underground subway tunnel and, upon discovering that water can dissolve Marko's body, rips open a large water pipe to deliver what he believes to be a lethal torrent of water. The shift in Peter's personality alienates Mary Jane, Harry who has recovered from his temporary partial amnesia remembering everything, including his vendetta. Later, Peter confronts him at The Osborn Mansion. With the help of the black suit, Peter is victorious in a brutal fight, which leaves Harry's face disfigured. Influenced by the suit, Peter becomes overconfident and starts to neglect the people who care about him the most. Peter also exposes and humiliates Eddie Brock JR. II, (played by Topher Grace) a rival freelance photographer, who has just gained overnight star status at the The Daily Bugle by submitting doctored photographs supposedly showing Spider-Man to be a criminal. Will everyone's favortive superhero get rid of his new extraterrestrial Black colored alien symbiote Spider-Man suit and once again wear his Red and Blue Spider-Man suit and be the same again ?. I thought the story of Spider-Man 3 was a clear, relatable, memorable and sharply told superhero story.

Direction: Spider-Man 3 is the third movie we have seen that was directed by Sam Raimi. Director Sam Raimi's direction as the director of Spider-Man 3 is smashing, exhilarating and superlative.
Visuals: The action scenes and the special effects and the visual effects that are this time designed and supervised by Scott Stokdyk of Peter Parker and of Spider-Man and of The New Goblin and of Sandman and of Venom in the action scenes are fantastic, fashionable and fascinating. Danny Elfman and Christhopher Young create and compose some sweet, swell, thriving music for Spider-Man 3 and we really liked the message in Spider-Man 3. The message in Spider-Man 3 is about the danger of the sin of pride and revenge and redemtion and about finding hope and learning forgivness and to see what it is to have friends in all of our lives. What a transforming message.
Overall: At the end of the day Spider-Man 3 was another good superhero movie sequel, a A- perfect, glamorous superhero movie sequel and we all liked Spider-Man 3. Just like everything in Spider-Man was an award bargin with beaming beats and everything in Spider-Man 2 was sensational, exciting and exclusive with exhilaration, everything in Spider-Man 3 is irresistible, 5 stars excellent blockbuster superhero movie sequel. We all had a gran good time watching Spider-Man 3 at the movie theather with popcorn and a drink of Coca-Cola. Spider-Man 3 is the number 1 best action movie of the summer of the year of 2007 and the year of 2007. I give Spider-Man 3 two thumbs up and the score 93 out of 100 and I hope you enjoy Spider-Man 3. So enjoy the movie, enjoy Spider-Man 3.
"Spider-Man 3 is rated PG-13 for sequences of intense action violence and Spider-Man 3 is 2 hours and 20 mintutes long"
Watched Spiderman 3. Tangled plotlines. Peter Parker loses his best friend Harry because he chose to stay and chat with the Sandman instead of rushing to Harry’s aid as the latter dies of massive internal injuries caused by vicious stab wounds. Mary Jane cried all the time, and got on my nerves.
First of all, I thought this movie was the best of the Spider-Man trilogy. I have no idea why people are saying it sucked. I mean, to some fan who's read the comic books, and expected Venom to be the hulking black gorilla he was in the comics, then I understand. But I would have been disapointed if they made Venom huge. I mean, come on, he'd look a little strang jumping 20 feat in the air, although he looked like he weighed 300 pounds. On the other hand though, I didn't like that he appeared kinda late in the movie. I also didn't like that the New Goblin had a strange outfit, and never became the public menace his father did. Also, what's up with the huge Sand Man? I mean he just has to get bigger and bigger. I mean, it was just a little cheesy. And, the Harry shouldn't have died. He was actually one of my favorite caractors. All in all, this was one of my favorite Summer block busters.
Spider-man 3 was okay, right up until the part when Eddie turned to Venom. That's when the high-speed fun action ended and the lameness started. The movie lost it's superhero feel to it like the first too. It became some fight against evil instead of superhero comes to save the day. And there was too much crying, it added to the lameness. And their Venom sucked. They should've never put him in. They should've never even had the black suit at all. It's too unlikely that suit would appear out of nowhere when Peter finds his uncle's real killer (who turns to Sandman). Either they should've had just Venom, or just Sandman (with Harry). If they make another movie, I hope they don't screw it up like this one.
This movie was about Spider-Man and the evil of the Black Suit. It had problems of Spider-Man, such as Harry tells M.J. to break up with him, his true Uncle's killer is on the loose, and he has to fight his best friend. It's amazing to think that with all of the action that such a good message it displayed. I mean, he forgives his Uncle's killer and refuses to be overtaken by Venom, or the Black Suit. It has no nasty love scenes in it, and also no bad cussing. The special affects are unbeleivable, and so are the fight scenes with Harry, The Sandman, himself, and Venom. I greatly encourage you to see this action packed movie. I'll go ahead and tell you, it's sad, but not too sad. So, go ahead. It's well worth it!
