The Boat that Rocked is an ensemble comedy, where the romance is between the young people of the 60s, and pop music. It's about a band of DJs that captivate Britain, playing the music that defines a generation and standing up to a government that, incomprehensibly, prefers jazz.
"if your looking for a movie that you can watch over and over again then this is the one for you. if you love the 60's and all the rock and roll that you can stand then watch this movie. songs such as dancing in the street and all of the day and all of the night. one thing is to pay attention to the beginning because if you dont you will be a little lost. but they make a great recovery by making a great movie with a great summary and sound track. actors such as nick frost and bill nighy make the movie hillarious.
Great job pirate radio.
I love this film!!! I think this is one of the best comedy's that I've ever watched. Brilliants actors, such as Bill Nighy as Quentin and Philip Seymour Hoffman as the Count. The story line is very good and I love the music they have picked to star in the film from the 60's, good choice! The film's soundtrack is out in stores, and I recommend to try it out.
