Movie review - The Last Song

Genre: Drama, Romantic

Running time: 103 minutes

Director: Nicholas Sparks

Year / Country: 2010 / USA

Setting: Georgia, USA

Rating:

'The Last Song' is a very romantical story which is about a girl who makes holidays with her brother in North Carolina by their father. Then she falls in love with a boy who lives there.

After their parents divorced, Ronnie (Miley Cyrus) and her brother Jonah (Bobby Coleman) live in New York. In the holidays they go to visit their father Steve (Greg Kinnear). Ronnie thinks her dad left them and so she is just arguing with him. One day she goes to the volleyball field where a boy (Liam Hemsworth) accidentally put her drink down. He wants to meet her but she does not like him.

Then her brother finds turtle eggs. Miley just want to monitor them.

What she did not know is that the boy Will is on a member of a animal welfare organization, so, as time goes by, Ronnie and Will fall in love.

However, some misunderstandings volve and so their love is not the easiest.

Someday Ronnie and Jonah learn their father to be seriously ill.

A difficult and sad time with lots of tears begins.

This movie is really dramatic because of the illness of Steve. In some scenes there are very striking background sounds, so, the viewers maybe loose some tears.

It is also nice to watch the movie with your date because some scenes are very romantic.

The actors also show realistic emotions and the story is profound.

To conclude 'The Last Song' can be recommended and the best film of Miley Cyrus.
