The Exorcist (1973)
Regan MacNeil, a 12-year-old girl living in Georgetown with her mother Chris, begins to adapt an explicit new personality as strange events befall the local area. Chris becomes torn between science and superstition in a desperate bid to save her daughter, and ultimately turns to her last hope: Father Damien Karras, a troubled priest who is struggling with his own faith after the death of his mother.
Great film! It drags in some areas, but it is very frightening and tackles something that many people take way too seriously...religion! And for the balls it had in the year 1973 it deserves a lot of credit! Not to mention it is one of the most influential horror films of all time!
Very great horror movie! May scare viewers, since it is called "the scariest movie of all time"!
