From the begining squence - a musical number (which says to me that the writers couldn't be bothered thinking of a way to start the movie) right through to the end this movie was one big disappointment.
As a big Dr Seuss fan I was shocked and appalled that they decided to change the motivation of the young star from that of environmental compassion to wanting to impress a girl.
Also the music was total trash - there were far too many pointless and mediocre songs.
Even the kids didn't like it.
