When Bella Swan moves to a small town in the Pacific Northwest to live with her father, she starts school and meets the reclusive Edward Cullen, a mysterious classmate who reveals himself to be a 108-year-old vampire. Despite Edward's repeated cautions, Bella can't help but fall in love with him, a fatal move that endangers her own life when a coven of bloodsuckers try to challenge the Cullen clan.
What do you think about the new Twilight movie? Do you think it’s a good movie? Would you recommend to a family member or friend? Well my personal option is that it’s a pretty good movie. I say that it’s a good movie because it excited me, it had me thinking, like what’s going to happen next. There were a couple things I didn’t like about the movie like it wasn’t enough action. I also didn’t like the way it went off it could have been better. But other than that the movie twilight Eclipse is defiantly in my top list of movies. By the way I would defiantly recommend this movie to the whole United States!
Just what the summary says. My friend dragged me to see this movie in the theatre, and I have to say, this movie is worse than the books. If you like this sort of crap film making--that is no better than the damned works of Jason Freedburg and Aaron Seltzer from all those crap parody movies--then you can buy it, or RENT it at most, and watch this turd of a film. The only vampires that ACT LIKE vampires are the evil ones, and even THEN one of them is still a p***y. And what vampires sparkle? EVER?! Seriously, do NOT waste your money with this one, unless you like watching half-naked sparkly, fairy men prance around with egotistical, moody bitches who never shut up.
This movie was not my favorite... The main character Bella was very boring and dramatic, And Edward Cullen was creepy. Overall this movie was a little to dramatic for me and a little to unreal, but every one has a different opinion. If you liked harry potter for the fantasy factor and you love drama and ice cold vampires then this movie is for you!
I liked this movie a lot. I think that there were a lot of things that differd from the book. Like the Edward handles Bella, in the book he never would have handled her so roughly. Other than that I loved it. As an employee of DISH I was waiting for this to come out so I could record it on my DVR. The first time a saw it I was in the hospital having my son, and no I didnt name him Edward or Jacob. But go figure my son loves the movie now too! :)
This movie was so terrible that when i saw it the first time i never wanted to watch it again and than some of my best friends really loved the movie and it just made me sick how my best friend fell in love with that gay, wanna be hot, vampire and of course i never would have watched the others if it weren't for my friends i mean the others were pretty good but twilight was just TERRIBLE!
i am a huge horror fan. vampires being one of the o.g's of horror i was disappointed with the film. i know it wasnt meant to be a horror film, but jesus christ on a crucifix this movie was horrible! it was nothing more than a day time soap opera with a fan base of future day time soap opera watchers. the story is excrutiatingly slow and bella acted like she was on pills the whole time. the one thing i agreed with was the romance aspect of the vampires. the classic vampire is very seductive and will woo the prey before the killing bite. this movie sucked and will only be loved by scenesters and stay at home moms. enjoy... or not
this film was just awful, the worst vampire film yet, i know they're surposed to be based on books thats why i hate the films. did the author even know what a vampire was? i mean for vampires to sparkle in sunlight is just... -.-
all the vampires were absolute pansy's i was just embarressed for the actors and directer who was involved with this film. i was so sick of it i was hoping that blade will come up at the end and slaughter them all.
Ok I bit the bullet and decided to watch this film. All you hear about is how great this movie is. I am going to be completely honest about this and I am not saying this because I am "anti-twilight" or anything. This is a real review. This movie was pretty bad. First off, some of the worse acting I have seen in along time. The dialog did not help at all in making these people seem like better actors. Actually, maybe some of them are pretty good, but the dialog makes it worse. I know Kristen Stewart is pretty good. I had heard that Robert Pattinson was amazing in this film. Now I realized that this is said because of all the fangirls out there. His acting was horrible. Plus the fact throughout the whole movie he had this expression on his face like he had to go to the bathroom. The story was ok and interesting, but not strong at all. I do like the take on vampires. It is original and different. After watching this movie I clearly see why it is rated so high. It is a cult film hyped up by people who are more obsessed with the characters than the movie as a whole. But that is good for this film, it helps movies like this make money and I will give them credit for that. I also give them credit because I was able to sit through the whole thing also. I was hoping for a little more special effects than running really fast too. I know some will hate me for my words, but I know true film critics will see my point of view.
