We need BLADE!

Reviewed by gc161968

If your a teeny bopper giggly girl you may like this fairy tale story about a gay vampire and his wanna be vampire girlfriend. What this movie is really missing is Blade to clean up and take out all these losers. Like I said unless your a 13 year old girl who thinks vampires are so romantic and wish you were one or a gay pale faced vampire wanna be guy then do yourself a favor and dont see this! If I could give it a half star I would

*I have not read the book this is based off so review is purely based on the movie*

While containing some decent ideas and direction, the one dimensional acting, awkward dialogue, poor effects and questionable characters really ruin any potential the premise contains.

A MASSIVE LET DOWN....

Reviewed by ashleigh256

Seriously this movie was a massive let down and it disappointed me and so many other people when they saw it.

And even if the books never existed but the movie came out and remained the same nobody would go see it,its only appeal was that it had a book and if you read the book u could pretend that this movie contained at least half the details.

Every good part in the book was not even included in the movie it was like thay based the movie on the blurb of the novel instead of its contents.

The only thing to do know is hope that someone who can actually create movies will come along and decide to remake it.

P.S i dont even think it deserves one star.

This is one of those movies you get bored with.

Reviewed by chuckyfan101

You know, this movie has one many awards, praises, and downloads then it really deserves. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty good, but after awhile you just get bored with it. It was so cliche and just stupid most of the time! What vampire sparkles? What is the big difference between human blood an animal blood? Was this movie worth all the time and money they spent on it, my answer is no, yours of course may be different. I really do not care if you agree with me or not, but it's not a five star movie and it will never be one. Actors, bad choice. Kristen Stewart can't act, Robert Pattinson, not only a diva, but butt ugly too! And besides Taylor Lautner, every other actor was a nobody. I just am not a big fan of the books either. And as I say to all my twi-dork friends, "You've liked vampires since Twilight, I've liked vampires since FOREVER!!"

I must admit, this movie was not all that good. It was quite different from the book (like most film adaptations), and it cast some pretty amateur actors who DEFINATELY need some more seasoning. I lost most of it's bite going to the big screen.

Ok, so I absolutly loved this movie. Yes, i watched the movie, then read the book. But i believe it is extremely hard to fit a 400-500 page book into a 90 minute movie, but they really did a good job. Kristen Stewart could have done better, but she didnt do as terrible job as Ive read other places. I know im late on this review, but i just found this website. Anywho, i really enjoyed this movie. It is for teens and adults alike.

REVIEW

** This is an exclusive review of th 2 disc dvd, To see a more in depth review of the movie please see the Twilight review**

I had a much better experience with this movie seeing it on DVD. There was things i didn't notice the first time, and some scenes appeared better in the dvd. For example the "Sparkle" scene with Edward in the Sun. It appeared much brighter and more vivid on the DVD then it did in the theatre.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

The 2 disc dvd comes with great special features. Including 3 music videos by Paramore, Muse and Linkin Park, Who all feature on the Twilight Original Soundtrack. There are 5 extended scenes that we didn't get to see, and there are 5 deleted scenes.

EXTENDED SCENES:

Scene Title:Are People Talking about the Cullen's again?

1. One thing that wasn't shown in the movie was bella cooking for charlie, there wasn't even a hint of it mentioned, I think that was such a big part of who bella was, and her character in the book. This scene took place in the diner with Bella and Charlie, and here she mentions to him that she can cook for him sometime. I think the seen should have stayed. It would have brought more from the book into the movie.

Scene Title: James Let's not play with our food

2.This scene was from the part of Waylons murder. When i read about Waylon being murdered, I imagined it to be intense, but in this scene is wasn't portrayed well at all, There was no struggle from waylon and it almost looked Slow Motion. Then there was a scene of the 3 of them walking away from waylons murder and they had blood dripping from the sides of their mouth, and it look amature, it almost looked to be a bad halloween costume.

Scene Title:You don't know how it's tortured me

3. I thought this scene was a must have for the movie. Bella's and Edward's chemistry was already explosive in the movie, but this just showed more the the passion Bella had for Edward almost instantaineously.

Scene Title: A Hundred year's worth of Journal's

4.This scene wasn't to different from the scene the chose for this part. Edward had laying around 100 years worth of journals. I would have liked to here a passage from the journal, it would have been interesting.

Scene Title: Don't read Charlie's Mind

5.This was a good scene, Cute. It had a bit of comedy.

** The Extended scenes total time was 6 minutes and 10 seconds

DELETED SCENES:

Scene Title:Edward, She's not one of us

1. I think this scene was needed. Emmett Didn't have much lines in the movie, and this gave him one more, It was short, but it also showed Edwards non stop fasination with Bella, and Bella's frustration for not understanding why Edward was being so cold to her.

Scene Title: That's the first night i dreamt of Edward Cullen

2.I'm glad this scene didn't get into the movie, not because i didn't like it, but because the first kiss between bella and edward was meant to be so intense, this scene would have taken that away.

Scene Title:Bella, your number was up the first day i met you

3.Loved it, up until the little "Love Bite" edward gave Bella. In my opinion Edward wouldn't have been able to handle that sort of temptation, atleast that calmly. Also edward would have never of bite bella, he hated hurting her.

Scene Title: She's brought him to life

4. Why was this scene not in the movie?? This scene should have been kept. In the books the love Carlisle and Esme had for each other was so stong and descriptive. We didn't get to see any of that in the movie, except for this part, and it was cut.

Scene Title: I Love it When men Chase me

5.For People who haven't read the books, they probably had no clue that James and Victoria were mates, except for the one tiny part you seen them arm and arm at the baseball diamond. This scene has a passionate kiss between James and Victoria and i think it should have stayed in the movie.

** The Total time for the deleted scenes are 2 minutes and 23 Seconds

AUDIO COMMENTARY:

The Audio Commentary was great, and Hillarious, it was done by Catherine Hardwicke, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. I enjoyed the commentary so much, and if you haven't watched it yet, you need to do it now.

THE 7 PART FEATURE:

There is a 7 part feature of a thorough break down of taking the book and making a movie, I foun it very interesting. I explained everything from story boards, CGI, Stunts and so much more.

THE COMIC-CON FEATURE

This was good to, i wasn't to informative about casting or anything, but it was funny to watch the twilighters go into a frenzy. The Twilighters also got to see a Viewing of the Movie

OVERALL THOUGHT

I loved this, I enjoyed it so much more then i did then seeing it in the theatre, and the special feature were such a bonus. I am a proud owner of this 2 Disc Special, and I recommend everybody to grab it. It will have you entertained for hours. Enjoy!!

The Twilight DVD release is sure to excite fans of this saga. The movie has some script and acting deficiencies in a few spots but it offers a nice YA romantic drama for teens and Twilight fans, but it has a nice 'superhero' effect.

May not be an exact replica of the book, but movies never are. Still the naive romance and drama shine through with Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen and Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan!

Based on The Stephenie Meyer Twilight Saga. Twilight is the First movie out of 4 installments.

I thought the cast Was Great, couldn't have picked them better. I thought the storyline was great, but if you have read the book before the movie you could be left disapointed. I loved the movie, but there were lots ot things left out. The movie was 2 hours long, but there were still some scenerios that could have stayed without the movie being to long. The Chemistry between the 2 stars Kristen Stewart(Bella Swan) and Rob Pattinson(Edward Cullen) was electrifying. The movie left me Happy but a little dissapointed. I don't think it lived up to what it could have been.
