SICKO
Category: Documentary | Tags: brilliant frighteningly true documentary

Michael Moore's newest film SICKO is brilliant! He exposes how the greed of the insurance companies & drug companies put ALL our healths at risk. People have died so that insurance companies could thrive. THe government should be ashamed of itself AND held accountable for allowing this to happen.
THe research that went into the making of this film is extensive. The use of film clips from decades of movies is genious.
When the Republicans refused to allow Hillary Clinton's Health Care Reform Bill to pass, they did our citizens a huge disservice. SICKO has pointed out, more than ever, that this country is is desperate need of health care reform. If other countries have success with their free health care systems,, why can't the richest country in the world?

Michael Moore is very good at one thing. I will give him that. He edits things so well you actually believe he is giving you the whole story, not just forcing clips on you that support his ideas and opinions. I feel bad that people find his work credible, let alone ingenious.
"Say: Team America ate my baby!!!"
If nothing else, Michael Moore makes us think about issues. Sicko is well done in that it makes us take a look at the health care system and form an opinion one way or the other. The one thing about Michael Moore is that he can make a documentary on a subject that is entertaining while he makes his point. How many documentaries make it into the mainstream theaters and actually make good money for him and for the studio. Even though you may not agree with his opinion, you have to admit that he makes some good points and makes you think about a subject that you may not otherwise have thought about.Thumbs up for this movie. Make a point of seeing it. You most likely will not regret it.
...This doesn't even seem like a review. It seems more like a movie poster for SICKO, complete with simpering, abject praise from paid spokespeople.
I haven't even seen the movie. It sounds like the kind of political movie that people go to so they can be told what they want to hear, and leave the theatre charged with righteous wrath.
I tend to agree with Moore's feelings, but I agree that the review is a bit of a poster child.
I'll still see tha movie, though... on DVD, of course - this is not "big screen worthy".
i hate drama movies, so i dont care at all :p... wait a minute why am i even in the drama section?
