hello i would like to say that Dave Karger of Entertainment Weekly, you have no right in ridiculing the Transformers Movie and I am apalled in what you said.
I watched the movie and I happen to agree with Mr Roeper on Sunday 7/15/2007 when the show Ebert and Roeper aired in my area.
I can tell you from watching the Transformers Cartoons, I never have seen Barricade the police car. and from what i remember in the cartoons Bumble Bee was a VW Bug... in the movie, he is a Camaro.
I can tell you this I missed only a few minutes cause i had to use the restroom. I can tell you this that the movie is a good seller.. When it comes out on dvd.. I am going to buy it..

Hello,
I agree with kitten981. The Transformers movie was awesome; I have seen it twice and I am looking for my third chance to go see it. Dave Karger of EW obviously has an early childhood dislike of the Transformers stemming from the cartoon movie and series. If you really never liked something as a child you will most likely not like it as an adult no matter what. Mr Karger talked about how the movie was boring---EXCUSE ME???!!!!!---what movie was he watching???!!! This movie was full of action from beginning to end. People needed to be in the movie otherwise we might as well have had another cartoon, plus, they were not on their planet, they came to earth where humans live, remember Mr. Karger??!! Karger also talked about how the Transformers' languages were either proper or hip and they should have picked one. First of all, if he would have actually LISTENED to what they were saying in the movie, Karger would have heard they learned the languages through the World Wide Web, which means they learned both proper and hip talking tactics. Humans speak in the same manner--a time and place for everything. I suggest that Dave Karger does not view and criticize movies he knows he is not going to enjoy stemming from childhood dislikes, plus, if Mr. Karger wanted to become a 15 minute celebrity for this review, well, I think he just may get it!!
Transformers is a movie for everyone. I was never really into transformers, and I still think it is one of the best movies in 2007. I wanted to get a fans opinion on the movie, and when asking my friend, he said he could not have been happier with the movie. I would rate it an 9/10. A must see.
The Transformers is all about fighting and fun. Just like the cartoon. This is a nice looking summer movie. Check it out people!
Totally sucked. Took something extremely cool and ruined it by making it stupid. "Low IQ required to enjoy this film" should have been the tag line.
Good review! I loved this movie. I think me you and another guy, are the only ones who enjoyed this movie.
Transformers was an awesome movie. This was the way I was hoping it would be done. I think that the movie had a couple of moments that were a little cheesy but those moments left my mind as the story went on. I was at the edge of my seat for every action scene the movie had and was not disappointed for one second of the movie
I didn't dislike the movie or care for it a whole lot either. As much as i like Shia LeBeouf, he has made better movies like 'Disturbia' which was funny and creepy. I guess i'm not a fan of the Transformers toys or whatever they used to be, so i can see people liking it if they are a big fan of those.
