War

I walked into this movie expecting it to be a really good movie and felt a little disappointed. It was a pretty good movie but lacked a story that grabs you and never lets go. The action scenes were great and were the best parts of the movie. There was a story and when everything falls into to place you understand and walk out thinking that it was pretty good, well at least I did.
The story is about two F.B.I. agents who get involved looking for Rogue who is supposedly a myth, when one of the agents gets killed the other agent makes it his personal mission to find and either arrest or kill Rogue. When Rogue returns from a sort of break from killing people there is a war between the Triads and the Yakuzas in which he becomes involved in both of the gangs. I am not going to give away too much, but the story allows for some really good action scenes that impressed me enough to like it. One thing I was really anticipating was a good fight scene between the two main characters (Jet Li & Jason Statham) which occurs in the movie and is pretty well done.
Overall the movie was decent but did not deserve all the hype that it got. Because of all the hype and went in thinking it was going to be better than it was. I recommend this movie to those who love straight up action movies because you will be entertained through the whole movie to those who search for a strong story should sit this one out.
