The Bourne Ultimatum proves one of the best summer blockbusters grossing well over 70 million the first weekend of whatever correct me if i`m wrong there but anyways i liked the first movie but never got to the second movie before i saw this.at first i thought it was juts going to be an average action movie but it turned out to be one of the best action spy movies i had ever seen displaying some great acting from Matt Damon and just endless action scenes that`ll have you glued to the screen.ok now i know this ousnds weird but my complaint was the camera during the actioon events it like made me dizzy from going all over the place but really it didn`t effect my rating on this.so anyways if you liked the previous bourne films you`ll love this movie best and if you didn`t like the previous movies than i bet you`ll like this too!!with the bourne ultimatum coming out it was just unexpected really and i thought nothing of another bourne film and really i never saw the first movie til i saw the trailer for the third one but let`s skip to me thoughts at the end of the movie.now it was pretty satisfying but at the same time it left you hanging.but it does leave you with the feel of another bourne film that could crash this wonderful series
Recently I have enjoyed Adam Sandler's movies because he is starting to mature and make better movies. This one touches bases with gay rights and treating homosexual people with the same respect as hetrosexual people. The movie hits some really important notes nut then takes away from it with some slurs against gay people. The movie is hilarious even though some of the things that are said aren't well mannered. I enjoyed the movie and the actors chosen for the parts were chosen well. The jokes are on point and Kevin James and Adam Sandler have great comic chemistry together. I laughed out loud throughout the movie and if you enjoyed any of Adam's other recent films than you will enjoy this one.
After seeing a lot of reviews about this movie, I have to say I went in with expectations higher than they probably should have been. However, Superbad came extremely close to living up to it's reputation. The humor is crude, which I happen to enjoy, but if it's not your thing you might want to stay away. If you enjoyed Knocked Up, you'll like this. I also have to say that for a movie in which everything happens in one night, it moves pretty smoothly and doesn't make you feel like you're watching the longest night of your life. All in All--4 stars!
despite the bad directing and corny dialouge Transformers turned out to be a dazzling expreience for teens and adults.now as much as noth critics and audiences re giving ths a thumbs down i understand cause i did see a lot of flaws and one that was very bad was humor in the wrong places.it seemed to give it a kidish feel and i did not like it when that happened.i think this movie should have been aimed towards a more serious role and with Shia Lebouf you already know there is some humor involved.now the cast i didn`t mind but the script lacked.now there is one feature poeple love anout this movie and it`s the detail that was pretty much the best i`ve seen in 5 years since the matrix.it proved spectacular on all levels.the action sequences were phenominal i was just fully enterained and glued to the screen and although most people hated thi movie I thought Transforems was a good summer blockbuster

Rush Hour 3 is no where near as bad as so many are saying it is, though it isn't very good either. The film has the same traditional set up you'll find in so many action movies. Important person gets shot, people look to find out who did it, they fall into something bigger than they thought and go on an adventure.
Remember the first two films in the franchise? Well, they're better, though not quite as pretty to look out (which seems to be Ratner's specialty).
If you like Chris Tucker then you're in luck because he's once again off the walls and if you can't stand him then maybe this film will be bearable for you; somehow he's able to not be very irritating in this film. Jackie Chan is great as usual and other new characters put on a fine performance. However, the cast isn't all fun; bad acting can be seen coming from Youki Kudoh and Jingchu Zhang, who play the bad girl and Soo Yung respectively.
Rush Hour 3 has some good action, though it's usually below the quality of an average Jackie Chan film and there is one cool death. During the time in between these scenes (of which there is usually few) there is okay comedy with occassional honest laughs and a story that's not far from an excuse to make a new movie.
Don't get me wrong, this film is fun enough if you're with your friends and enjoyable to a certain degree (though I had low expectations, so I can't speak to anyone without them), but if you have the opportunity then skip this and go see 'Superbad' instead; this will be on HBO eventually.
In conclusion, Rush Hour 3 is fun for a little while, but that's about it and it gets 1 and a half stars from me (2, on this site).
The summer's top grossing film!
Why? It covers everything: action/suspense/fantasy/romance/comedy. The best movie for your buck at 2:45, Pirates 3 is filled with special effects with the last 40 minutes being the most original and visually stunning in cinema history. This film is WHY we GO to the movies! It won't be the same on DVD no matter how big your screen is. If you haven't seen it on the 'big screen' you haven't really seen it. Hans Zimmer's incredible score heightens the films action. It IS a must see! Geoffrey Rush's performance is superb possible Oscar nod? Kiera Knightley should also be nominated for an Oscar. Johnny & Orlando of course ALWAYS AWESOME - If you haven't seen it hurry! Ye might not pass this way again!
This was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen! I left the theatre singing Spider-Pig. So, to start the review, here are the pros: The movie was hilarious, it had a plot that didn't leave me feeling empty, and it was just like a big episode of the Simpsons. Now, here are the cons: They didn't really explain the charactars very well, the main bad guy was someone we have never seen before, and I think if it was just a little more random, it would be perfect. Although some parents, and people in general may be offended by seing barts (animated) full body, (you heard me, FULL) I think that over all, this is one of my favorite comedys, and I will definatly buy it whene it comes out.
wow, now this movie was great. I'll start by listing the bad things: acting was second-rate, kinda corny dialogue (but hey, that's the Transformers right?), too human-like robots (but hey, THAT'S the tranformers too, right?), and the humor was only chuckle-enducing. And now for the good parts: AMAZING CGI!!!!!! awesome fight and action scenes, gorgeous transformation scenes, even though they were slow (which kept the dazzling effects working even longer), the government was very government-like, not like other movies when the filmakers didn't really know how the government would handle things. The action scenes aren't cut off to other scenes right in the good parts or suspenseful ones, thus ensuring you satisfaction. And the characters are loveable. likeable. well, enjoyable. lol.
So all in all, this movie is a must-see. It's great fun, and will have you chompin' your popcorn the whole way through. You can decide for yourself. I recommend it. It would've gotten 5 stars, but the acting and other bad things brought it down one star. still great though!!
To start off, I LOVED this movie. It's in the top 5 best movies I've ever seen. And if you've read my review for Spider-Man 3, I hold it very high. This movie is better. As I always do, I'll start with the pros of the movie. First of all, the CGI was so good, I forgot the robots were fake. Second, I had VERY high expectations for this movie. It surpassed them. While some parents may take offense with Sam's mom asking if he's masturbating, (Played entirely for comedy.) I'd say amyone 11 and over should just laugh. And although this movie is a truly amazing expirience, no movie is without fault. I did't like how the British girl was so critical, yet, she comes into the movie as well, a British girl. You don't even know her. Also, can you really call the operator and ask for the Pentagon? I highly doubt it. Although this movie may have a few hiccups here and there, I think this was THE best movie of summer, 2007.
