This is the funniest movie I have seen! It has action and enough comedy to keep you laughing for weeks! I know from experience. It shows Maxwell Smart (Steve Correll) team up with the mysterious Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway) as they work together to stop an insane evil. Featuring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Agent 23. This is a summer blockbuster you don't want to miss!
This movie is tasteless. Mike Meyers has lost his originality and seems to be trapped in his Austin Powers character. I seriously felt that everyone from Austin Powers had a role in The Love Guru. What I found extremely disturbing is that the ‘comedic’ moment was when two elephants were humping during a hockey game. This is comedy? Jessica Alba plays her unoriginal self and is not convincing-even in a tacky comedy. The only highlight was seeing Justin Timberlake in a Speedo and even that was disturbing.
This movie may be one of the best Pixar Animation films you're going to see. This fun-packed adventure between two future robots will have you craving to see what's going to happen next.
Wall E is one of many robots who is designed as a trash compactor 800 years from now. During that time, the Earth is overrun by mountains of trash, and it is Wall E's job to neatly pile the trash and keep it out of the way of the human race. No humans remain on Earth, for they have created a home away from home in outter space. Wall E is left on Earth alone with a pet cockroach, and he has no idea that he can stop his job.
Wall E remains lonely until one day, an unexpected spaceship lands in his territory.
This movie will have you smiling and laughing at the cute little robot trying to find the missing space in his robotic heart.
Despite it being an animated picture, Kung Fu Panda is the perfect vehicle for the vocalisms of Jack Black. Black plays the obese panda Po, who is chosen to be the Dragon Warrior. His selection does not bode well with many others. Kung Fu Panda is hilariously funny, with many quotable lines. If you like Black, you'll love this movie, because he performs his role to perfection. Dustin Hoffman and Ian McShane are good supporting characters as well; Hoffman especially is very good as Master Shifu, the miniature animal who trains Po. Of course, because it's an animated movie, the fight scenes tend to be a bit exaggerated, but the comedic dialogue is superb. Overall, it is a very funny, funny, funny movie.
Okay, the new Indiana Jones movie is a pretty good movie, but it's still not the best in the series. Harrison Ford may be old, but he can still get around on screen. There are some weird parts in the movie, but that's just a trademark of the Indy series. However, there are some unbelievable parts, like when Indy survives a nuclear blast just by hiding out in a refrigerator. The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull isn't as good as Raiders of the Lost Ark, and it's up to you to decide if it's worth seeing in theaters or just waiting until it comes out on DVD.
I won't take up too much of your time so I'll keep this short and to the point. GREAT MOVIE! I went into the movie after reading some other reviews which said that the new Indiana Jones movie was either bad or not very good at all. I am telling you know: Do Not Listen to these idiots! In my opinion, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was just as good as the original 3 movies. It is spectacular! You MUST go see this movie if you haven't already!
I got to see a free screening last night and had to walk out about 45 min into movie. I just couldn't take it much more. Self involved, horrible attempts to have that classic "cheezy" comedy that made the TV show so great. Instead the jokes border-line on fart jokes. Bad fart jokes. No originality. When you sit in a "comedy" I would think that humor would be a top priority to the writers, but they shouldn't quit their day job writing for ten year old kids that haven't had parental supervision.
The only people that will enjoy this movie are die hard fans of the TV show, and ten year olds. Trying not to add spoilers, but the movie starts out great, but 15 min into it, you wonder if you're going to make it for the rest of the 100 min of this fiasco.
Avoid, at all costs this utter pile of garbage.
Oh there was one funny part, but it was funny in the 60's as well. Smart gets stuck in a phone booth. Wait, that is in a trailer. Ok, wait..... the movie isn't funny.
