"You be careful. People in masks cannot be trusted."
That may be true but you can trust that this movie is a classic. Cary Elwes is great as Westley and Robin Wright is amazing as Princess Buttercup. The supporting cast is just as brilliant with the revenge seeking Indigo Montoya (Mandy Patinkin) and Fezzik(Andre the Giant)the dangerously friendly giant. Chris Sarandon rounds out a nice cast as Prince Humperdink. The great Peter Falk has a great performance as a grandfather telling the story of The Princess Bride to his grandson(Fred Savage). With it's wildly crazy and fun antics that are often silly and ridiculous make for a fun family film that all ages will love.

Stay Scared...

"Even if you leave this room, you can never leave this room!"
These words are very relevant to this horror/thriller ghost story based on the short story by Stephen King.
A skeptical writer Mike Enslin(John Cusack) investigates supposed paranormal activity within hotels and other generally creepy places. While writing his latest book he receives a post card about an evil room at the Dolphin Hotel in New York(room 1408). The manager Gerald Olin(Samuel L. Jackson) is reluctant to have Enslin stay in 1408 because of all the deaths that have occurred in that room. But Enslin is insistent on staying the night there and nothing Olin says will change his mind...then Enslin's nightmare begins...
Nothing the best Stephen King adaption but it's one hell of a fun ride. With it's building story to the obvious but unexpected jump scares it outshines previous gore fest films. I highly recommend this if you're a Stephen King fan or just a pure horror movie fan and remember...
"Don't Stay in Room 1408."

"You've got the best crew in the world standing right in front of you, give them a reason to stay."
Exactly, this film has some star power in from Vin Diesel to Paul Walker and to Dwayne Johnson. After the Rio heist in Fast Five all the heroes have separated to spend their share of the heist money as they see fit. Then Agent Hobbs(Johnson) comes to Dom (Diesel)with a proposal to take down a group of highly skilled and deadly drivers. He then drops the bomb that Letty(Michelle Rodriguez) is still alive(see Fast and Furious) and is aiding the group of killers. Dom gets his team together and they set out to take down the group of drivers and get Letty back no matter the cost.
I know it's a plot that has been done to death, girlfriend dies but she doesn't really die-boyfriend saves her from evil menace. But what Fast & Furious 6 does that so many others don't is give it a freshness. A wondering if the hero will save the girl or if she really wants to be saved...
I am completely surprised that at number 6 of this film series I can honestly say that it seems to be getting better and that I don't think it's anywhere near slowing down...
