Somebody decided to remake Alien again, but realized that it couldn't be done any better than the original, so tinkered with the plot slightly, called it something else, and foisted it off on unsuspecting public. You will recognize the plot within the first 15 minutes, and from there, no surprises. You have the crew of spaceship awakening from cryo-sleep to investigate icy barren planet with stormy weather? Sound familiar yet? You have the cyber-human crew member who always seems to be hiding something he knows that the rest don't, who ends up with his head removed and still talking... you have the smart female crew member who gives sage advise to the rest, but they don't take it, and she ends up the sole survivor, after fending off numerous attempts by H R Giger's nightmare creatures to use her for an incubator. You have the gigantic horseshoe shaped alien spacecraft with the interior that looks like an oil refinery on steroids, and with one of the original crew awakened by our friendly cyborg from his hibernation chamber, attempts to take off, presumably towards earth with all the nasties aboard.
