I saw the new Iron Man movie last weekend. Judging by the big hype about this movie and the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed the first, I came into the theater with rather high expectations. I was essentially hoping for a repeat of the Dark Night. The first Batman was good, and the sequel was amazing. I thus expected the same for the Iron Man series. Furthermore, I expected to listen to a soundtrack of the movie composed entirely of AC DC music, due to the song played during the previews. I figured, as a rock and roll fan, that no matter what, I would at least get to enjoy some good music throughout the music. A long two hours later, I walked out of the theater rather disappointed.
I decided that the main problem with the movie was that there were too many things going on at the same time, and the movie did a poor job mixing them together into a comprehensible plot.
