Once again, Tim Burton's comes out with another animation. The main difference between this one and his other animations was that this one didn't involve clay. I found it interesting, I found myself knowing each character after the 1st time watching this, great fighting scenes, but I thought this movie was too short. Another half hour would have satisfied me. Don't listen to these other guys.
I never heard of this movie, but I watched it because I am an Ellen Page fan. I am also an Office fan, so I was quite surprised when Rainn Wilson also starred in this. I don't know what it is about movies about superheroes that don't have powers, but those movies have been very interesting for me. You've got to love Ellen Page's character. There are also lots of twists throughout, keeping you on your toes. Definitely a hidden gem, but be sure to check this one out.
I never watched the Transformers tv series, but I was real impressed with the trailers for this movie. I was even more impressed with the movie itself. The story line was easy to follow even for those that had never seen the show, it was action packed, and the characters were likable. The only negative thing I would say is that I don't really care much for Megan Fox's character.
This was one of the many movies that I grew up watching (I was even born the same year this movie came out). Even today I still watch this. It is fascinating that all of this was done in claymation. Every time Tim Burton creates a claymation movie, I've just got to see it. I would definitely recommend this movie. This should be the first Tim Burton movie anyone should see. It's hard to come up with a movie that is still popular despite being released over 18 years ago.
