Many people like this movie because it has sex appeal by the actors playing Hansel and Gretel. Now I'll admit I did enjoy seeing Gretel in tight clothes but that was just an added bonus. This is definitely not the same kind of take as the fairy tale. The writers take the fairy tale and make Hansel and Gretel really pissed off where they want to kill some witches. It has enough blood and violence to keep you entertained. I really don't think that this is a horror flick because it just wasn't scary. A nice twist to a classic fairy tale does say it pretty well. 6.5/10
I'm not much of a baseball fan but this movie was alright.I never knew much about Jackie Robinson until I watched this movie. It wasn't an exact documentary about the man because I'm sure they "Hollywooded" it up a bunch. Worth the watch but I wouldn't buy it unless I could get it cheap. 5.5/10
The first thing that you notice about this movie is the horrible Southern accents that are used. They are way overdone and get annoying real quick. Pretty much this was Twilight all over again except instead of vampires they had witches. The special effects looked bad and were obvious CGI. Jeremy Irons is way under-utilized. He was pretty much the only saving grace of the movie. Skip this and watch the first or last Twilight instead. 4/10
The acting was good with some pretty big names. Olivia Wilde looked great like she always does. Jim Carrey's character was a typical Jim Carrey type of character. Steve Carrell and Steve Buscemi played their roles perfect. Unfortunately this movie wasn't overly funny except for the scene with the children who need clean water and food and instead get magic. LMFAO! You'll have to see it to understand. Who needs clean water and food when you have magic? 5.5/10
An alright movie. The sniping scene which was the best part looked a little fake. Getting hit with a rifle round would have did some damage. When the people got hit they just fell over without a puff of red or anything. Very disappointing. Some action, enough that it kept your attention for the most part. 5.5/10
Wasn't that good. The acting was just okay and Bruce Willis should probably call it a career when it comes to the Die Hard movies. This movie wasn't that interesting eventhough there was a fair amount of action. It is far inferior to the second and fourth Die Hard movies so just watch those instead. 5/10
Thought that it would be funnier than it was. An alright storyline with decent acting. The ending was predictable but most movies like this are. Melissa McCarthy is pretty big. She reminds me a lot of John Candy. He believed that he had to be fat to be funny. Jonah Hill was big and lost a bunch of weight. Now... he isn't funny! Maybe they are right in thinking that. 5/10
