Red Dawn was good entertainment with a memorable lead character, who was enduring to the audience. I'm not one who seeks out violent movies, but Red Dawn had an adequate amout of 'violence' in that citizens of the Pacific Northwest were at war with the invading North Koreans all the while establishing character story-lines that were intriguing.
I disagree completely with the above review. Playing For Keeps was a light and entertaining feel-good movie. "George" was an admirable character who stood for what was right and stood by his committments to his family. It was a 4 of 5 star because of the acting and content--not to mention great casting.
