even with great movies, there's still room for improvement.

I love the concept, but it could've used more plot than "he's stranded and comes back AFTER 4 YEARS" - end of story. The biggest downer was that it just didn't convince me. There are stories of handfuls of people who have lived on deserted islands, but I found it hard to believe that this person did. Plus, I'm sure stranded people come back differently, like insane, antisocial, or primitive or something, but this person was perfectly normal ???.

For fiction, it wouldn't have hurt to add a little more action. Could've shown the perils he had to go through those 4 years. After the rescue, they could've expanded the story more and made it more emotional, but the acting just went flat and dead after that.

And there was a little too much information on Fed Ex (more than I needed to know since I prefer UPS for my packages).

I will definitely watch it again, but just won't be as excited.
