This movie wasn't too bad. I am going to school to become a cop and noticed many errors with how they would conduct themselves in certain situations. I suppose I live in small town America so in my state maybe things wouldn't be quite the same as in the big city of LA. This movie reminded me a lot of the show Southland. That is also a good show so that didn't bother me too much. If you're a fan of cop shows you should like this one. There is enough suspense that you shouldn't go away too unsatisfied. 6/10
Definitely doesn't measure up to Princess Mononokee or Spirited Away so watch those instead!
It started out good but went downhill. So a looper will eventually have to kill himself? Who in their right mind would actually do that if they were faced with that situation. The acting wasn't bad but it slows down too much. It was alright with just having a time travel aspect to it but then when the movie throws in that 10% of the population has telekinesis and can make things float that just left me wondering why they have to ruin movies that have so much potential! The ending really ruins the whole movie and takes away any re-watch factor that there might have been. Why they ended it the way that they did I have no idea. The writers weren't very smart to do so because it'll end up turning away a lot of viewers from buying or seeing the movie in theaters. 5.5/10
This movie was a decent martial arts flick. Unfortunately through the movie you are looking forward to the final battle for whether or not the main character achieves his goals but instead you are disappointed. The final battle happens but it is such a waste because it's pretty much just two guys dancing around each other and occasionally throwing a jab here and there. Lame to the most extreme! At least leading up to it it's decent. 5/10
This was an average movie. Steve Carrell does another superb job at acting. Keira Knightley not so much. When I watch her acting she seems like a valley girl with a British accent. Accents on certain people can ruin a movie. This one had an interesting plot line but the ending was a little lame and predictable. I suggest you watch it as long as you can get it in Red Box or online for free.
Not a bad love story. He has an affair with a married woman and they fall in love. Based on the planes and uniforms it seemed like the war they were fighting was a mix of World War I and World War II. I didn't think that I would like this movie but it turned out to be one that I did enjoy. A big problem that I had with the movie is that they spoil the ending by revealing how it ends in the first scene of the movie. There is no suspense because you already know that the woman dies so you are just waiting for it to happen throughout the whole movie. 6/10
This movie left much to be desired. None of the Resident Evil movies have been very good so far and this one is no exception to that. The special effects were a joke in almost every way! They looked so horrible that I haven't seen special effects look that bad since the Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions. Some of the acting was equally as bad. Michelle Rodriguez is still a horrible actress and it amazes me that she keeps getting work! The actress who played Jill Valentine was obviously chosen for her looks and not by her acting talent! Overall I would skip this one unless you were a fan of the others then you might like it. 4/10
Not a great movie by any means but it wasn't horrible. If you're Hispanic I'm sure that you will find it to be a lot better. It was interesting to learn something about Mexican history that I knew nothing about. Watch if you have 2-2 1/2 hours to spare and you can watch it for free. 5/10
I haven't seen reviews this bad on a movie since I watched Drive! Now that was a horrible movie! I expected the worst before I started watching this movie but I guess that I was a little surprised. Other reviews made it out to be like this was the worst movie ever made. It wasn't great by any means but it wasn't horrible either. I would have liked to see more of the history and background of the "engineers". Unfortunately they didn't which left a lot to be desired. Overall not good or bad just alright. I would suggest watching if you can get it for free or maybe rent it for $1 from Redbox. 5/10
You wouldn't think that there would be too much to this movie considering the trailers. You would be right in assuming that. The whole movie pretty much involves Joseph Gordon-Levitt riding a bike through New York City trying to deliver an envelope to an address while he is being chased by a guy who wants the envelope. Surprisingly though this movie doesn't have much different content it is still thrilling at some points and I would suggest you watch it. It doesn't have a whole lot of replay factor though (in my opinion atleast). 5.5/10
