Being a big nicolas cage fan i was very eager to sea this film but it was completly crap!
More or less everything about is was rubbish like the, concept of nicolas cage being a assasin and then falling in love and trying to change was just stupid, watch it and you will know what i mean.
But there was one part i did like when he takes his death girlfriend on a date then he is attacked so he violently kills the attackers right behind her without her knowing but at the end when he is trying to kill a guy in the back of a car whilt being chased by the cops so the holds the the blokes head next to his and shoots himself in the head and i thought why the hell did you do that!
The main problem with the film was mixing the wrong emotions with action and it just doesnt work.
Step brothers was a incredably funny film, fantastic if you just like watching two middle aged men acting like immature little kids but with the humour there was no depth and nothing to take from the film accept a few giggles and some funny lines you can say to your friends.
When you read the back of the case you can probably guess whats going to happen for the duration of the film. I would recomend this film to anyone who is a fan of will ferrel or john c reily because they are pretty good in step brothers.
When i purchased the hurtlocker i was so excited because i love war films like saving private ryan, black hawk down, jar headand i thought it would be more or less the same but the hurtlocker is completly different.
The bomb disarming scenes were exciting and very suspensful and as a film it was brilliant, a masterpiece but the action scenes i was looking forward to were quite slow and dull because not alot was happening overal but thats not to say it didnt have its good bits like the sniper rifle part and when sergeant william james returns home to his family and just feels lost and out of place where there some fantastic acting by Jeremy Renner who done a great portrayal as a soldier addicted to war.
From one of the best comedy directors Judd Appatow comes Nocked Up, a great film with a amazingly funny cast with Seth Rogen and Kathrine Hiegle who were superp. Every part was made to perfection.
It was a comedy hit! The Farrelly brothers best yet, Ben Stiller and his dad Jerry Stiller were a superp doule act. The comedy sex seens were hilarious and the storyline was perfect.
Great Entertainment
Walking Tall was one of the best action films i have ever seen. Dwayne Johnson was great in this hard hitting, white knuckle showdown. There are very few movies that can not be improved upon but this is defiently one. The action seens were top draw and the cast was well selected.
It was a hilarious film, shocking and jaw dropping. It was defiently not for the feint hearted. Some parts may make you want to vommit and others just burst out laughing. Sacha Baron Cohen was unbelievably good. The rudest and most discutingly hilarious film i have seen in years!
Harry Brown was good and extremely violent and good entertainment in some places but it was a bit slow and dull in parts. The action seens were gory but it lacked in pace and costistency. The best part of the film is when he went to the drug den to buy the weapons the kills the drug dealers and then set the building on fire! Michael Caine was brilliant.
